EXECUTIVE KEYNOTE: Creating Genius in the Collaboration Age

Elizabeth Ebert, Vice President North America IT Advisory Lead, Avanade

The tech industry has always showcased "geniuses" as innovation leaders (think Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos). But that definition is changing. As companies embrace new thinking around digital transformation and disruptive business models, "genius" doesn't necessarily refer to an individual. Instead, it's an approach - a combination of different capabilities, perspectives and creativity - all working together to increase velocity and deliver higher value to customers. Today's CIOs have a unique opportunity to create "genius" through pervasive collaboration, human and machine capabilities, design thinking and broader social engagement.
