    Eric is the Managing Partner for the Egon Zehnder Atlanta office and the Head of the “FinTech” practice group. He is a core member of the Financial Services and Technology Practices serving industry clients in executive search, board search and management appraisal capacities. He is also a member of the Financial Officers practice having accomplished numerous senior level assignments.

    Eric’s consulting work touches on a broad array of functional areas, including senior general management positions as well as senior level functional leadership roles in a variety of sectors including financial services, software, services and high technology in both public and private equity backed companies.

    Prior to joining Egon Zehnder International, Eric was the President of BISYS Compliance and Licensing Services where his responsibilities included growing the Education, Licensing and Advanced Designations’ business for BISYS. BISYS was sold to Citibank in 2005.

    Prior to joining BISYS, Eric gained significant experience in the technology field as a Vice President for S1 Corporation, a financial services software company, covering sales, marketing and general management in the U.S. and internationally. He served as Senior Vice President/General Manager of Knowledge Alliance, an information technology consulting organization, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ExecuTrain Corporation. Additionally, Eric worked for Baxter Healthcare in various international sales, marketing and operations roles.

    Eric has a BS in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in International Business from the University of Miami. After university, he served in the Armed Forces as a helicopter pilot in the Army. Eric, his wife Pam and their three children reside in Alpharetta, Georgia.

    Muthu Arumugham serves as Corporate Vice President of Technology at Ebix, Inc. Muthu has led top-performance, enterprise-level IT initiatives serving financial services and insurance vertical markets across the globe. Combining long-term experience in corporate IT operations with a deep-seated, foundational comprehension of application engineering, enterprise product and solution development, and global client management, he has contributed to strategic planning initiatives responsible for exponential company growth.  Muthu assumes the role as Chief Privacy Officer developing and executing security, compliance, and training programs that consistently ensure SOX, ISO 27001, SSAE 16, HIPAA, PCI and other audit successes. Establishing and implementing best practices, Muthu drives product development and platform management to assure security, compliance, and scalability while managing integration of all newly acquired companies and products across different lines of business. He is responsible for insurance exchanges where billions of insurance transactions are conducted across the globe.  

    Muthu completed executive program from MIT Sloan School of Management. He completed Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Hyderabad, India. He also possesses a Bachelor of Science in Physics from University of Madras, India.

    Muthu serves on the advisory board of Georgia CIO Leadership Association (GCLA), charter member of TiE, member of Society for Information Management (SIM) and serves on the advisory board of a few other organizations.

    Muthu is one of the finalists of Georgia CIO of the Year in 2016.

    Chris Bedi joined ServiceNow in September 2015 and currently serves as ServiceNow’s CIO. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Bedi served as CIO of JDSU from August 2011 to March 2015 where he was responsible for IT, Facilities, and Indirect Procurement. Prior to JDSU, Bedi held various positions at VeriSign from April 2002 until August 2011, including CIO, VP Corporate Development, and VP HR Operations. Bedi began his career at KPMG Consulting from June 1996 to April 2002. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.

    John Beisty is Vice President of Worldwide Transformation Solutions for one of HPE’s four strategic transformation areas: “Empower the Data Driven Organization.” In this role, John is responsible for defining and developing solutions across the HPE portfolio that enable customers to become more data-driven. The role involves management and oversight of the solution portfolio, business metrics, training & enablement, shaping of key market positioning/messaging and enabling account and sales readiness.

    Prior to this role, John served as the VP and COO of the Analytics and Data Management practice within HPE’s Enterprise Services unit. During his tenure, the business grew double digits each year. Before joining HPE, John spent 10 years at SAP where he held various high-level sales and Marketing operations posts including management of corporate shared services across global Sales, Marketing and Services. He also ran marketing strategy and Operations and Services Marketing globally, working directly for the SAP CMO. John started his career at Accenture, where he spent 15 years working with customers in Financial Services, Business Process Outsourcing and Consumer Products.

    John is known for his enterprise technology experience and domain ex-pertise in Data & Analytics and Knowledge Management. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

  • Shoukat Ali Bhamani

    Shoukat Ali Bhamani is the Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIO & CDO) for the Schaeffler Group Americas, a global automotive, industrial & aerospace manufacturer with $3.2B revenue and 13,000 employees in Americas.  Over the past 20 years, Shoukat has led several operational and strategic business functions to support a double digit growth in the manufacturing environment. This includes Strategic Planning, General Management, R&D, Program Management, Quality Systems, Continuous Improvement, Process Management and IT. His effective transformation leadership has successfully aligned the IT priorities to the business needs via program management, roadmaps, goals, KPIs and strategic initiatives, across multiple platforms & business units, nationally & internationally.  Resulting in a uniform SAP landscape region wide, measurable business improvements, additional sales opportunities, optimized business processes & supply chain, efficient technology & infrastructure, IT cost transparency, and a high performance IT team to support business growth & strategy. He has recently taken over the responsibility of digital transformation and is in the process of prioritizing business needs. 

    His business experience includes 10+ years of successful customer relationships to manage key programs & business development to support a significant increase in market share and bottom line.  His R&D contribution includes several new product development initiatives to meet the market challenges of new innovation and technology.  His international experience includes major programs across multiple platforms & business units, including product development, manufacturing, investment, cost reduction & IT projects in US, Canada, Mexico, Japan & Germany. Shoukat received his Bachelor's (NED) and Master's (McGill) degrees in Mechanical Engineering, and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.  He lives in Fort Mill, SC with his wife and two children

  • Nick Coussoule

    Nicholas Coussoule joined BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee in February 2008 as senior vice president and chief information officer.  In this role, Nick is responsible for a broad range of strategic initiatives, technical and operational support functions. He leads more than 800 employees and oversees a $190 million budget for the company’s information services and business engineering divisions. He reports directly to BlueCross’ chief operating officer and serves on the company’s corporate leadership council.

    Nick has more than 30 years of extensive experience in operations and technology consulting and IT management in the U.S. and internationally.  He began his career in consulting with Keane Inc. serving as a project manager and account manager in the US and the Netherlands, before moving into senior management.

    He has held senior IT leadership positions at Alumax Inc. as well as the chief information officer position at Pameco Corporation and Teltek Inc. Nick most recently served as the senior vice president and chief information officer at Crawford & Company, the world’s largest independent provider of claims management solutions.  

    At BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee he has been instrumental in helping the company successfully implement the requirements of the Affordable Care Act allowing BlueCross to obtain dominant market share while meeting our customer obligations. His team developed a Member 360 dashboard providing significantly improved customer service efficiency and effectiveness. His team also partnered with BCBST strategic marketing team to implement significant digital capabilities including an award winning member portal and award winning mobile applications.

    Prior key accomplishments for Nick include being part of a leadership team that developed and implemented a global order management and inventory system for a Fortune 500 chemical company. Nick also led the executive committee IT research, due diligence, synergy plan, acquisition and integration of a $200 million third-party administrator of custom claims and medical management solutions.

    Nick is a graduate of Dartmouth College, where he obtained a degree with honors in economics and mathematics. He is a graduate of the 2015 Nashville Healthcare Council Fellows program. Nick is also a member of the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics – the statutory public advisory body to the Secretary of Health and Human Services on health information policy.

  • Lee W. Crump

    Lee W. Crump is the CIO and Group Vice President of Business Support for Rollins, Inc. Rollins, based in Atlanta, has annual revenues of over $1.5 billion and is the parent company of Orkin Pest Control, and other well-known pest control companies. Prior to joining Rollins in 2009 Crump spent ten years as the CIO of the largest and most profitable ServiceMaster subsidiary based in Memphis, TN.  In 2012 Crump was named Georgia CIO of the Year (Global Division) by the GeorgiaCIO Association. In his current capacity, he manages a team of 150 professionals and is responsible for all Information Technology (IT) and Program Management (PMO). Mr. Crump holds the PMP credential from the Project Management Institute and has a long track record of successfully delivering major systems implementations. He served as the Six Sigma Executive Deployment Champion in his previous role with ServiceMaster. He has spent over 35 years in IT, equally divided between IT Executive Management and Business Consulting. Mr. Crump serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Year-Up Atlanta  and CFY, Inc. He serves on the Advisory Boards of the GeorgiaCIO Association where he is Chair of Programs, and the Association of Telecommunications Professionals (ATP). He is a past Board Member of Georgia Junior Achievement and CHRIS Kids. He is a volunteer and mentor for Pathbuilders Achieva, as well as Year-Up Atlanta, where in 2013 he received the Year-Up Urban Empowerment Award.   • Jay Ferro
    Former EVP, Chief Information and Product Officer
    Earthlink Holdings Corporation

    Jay Ferro was formerly chief information officer for the American Cancer Society, and was responsible for the people, strategy and operations of the global information technology of the organization. He is a recognized technology leader, known for creating and executing strategic visions to achieve business goals.

    Ferro joined the Society executive staff in 2012, bringing a deep personal connection to the fight against cancer. In 2007, he founded the nonprofit group Priscilla’s Promise, in honor of his late wife, who died from cancer. Priscilla’s Promise raises funds for cervical cancer education and research; Ferro currently serves as the group’s executive director.

    Prior to joining the Society, Ferro served as senior vice president and chief information officer for AdCare Health Systems, a rapidly growing and recognized innovator in health care facility management. Ferro spent the previous seven years at AIG (American International Group), most recently as vice president and chief information officer for AIG Aviation, a leading global aerospace insurer. At AIG, Ferro implemented numerous improvements that have delivered substantial value to the organization while managing significant organizational change in a turbulent market environment. In addition to his role as Associate Vice President of Information Technology with AIG Personal Lines, Ferro was selected as chief financial officer for operations and systems in 2006, and led multiple global IT finance and governance standards initiatives that resulted in millions of dollars in savings for the organization.

    Known as a thought leader in the information technology arena, Ferro is a frequent guest speaker and panelist, both in Atlanta and nationwide. In recognition of his accomplishments, Ferro was selected as Georgia CIO of the Year in 2011, and is currently serving as chair for the Georgia CIO Leadership Association. His commitment and dedication to community involvement is evidenced by the time and energy he contributes. In addition to his work with Priscilla’s Promise, in 2011, he was elected to the board of directors for TechBridge, an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization that helps other nonprofits use technology to improve their capability to serve the community.

    Ferro earned both his BA in political science and his MBA from the University of Georgia. He continues to be involved with his alma mater, both as a mentor for young alumni and as a member of the alumni board of directors for the Terry College of Business. Ferro lives in the metro Atlanta area with his three sons.

    Adam Ghetti, technologist and entrepreneur, founded Ionic Security in 2011 to address the problem of trust in a cloud and mobile enabled world. He has over 15 years of experience building large-scale systems in multiple Internet-related markets. He is an expert in complex systems and task automation and has in depth applied knowledge of application security, network security, data security, and artificial neural networks. Most recently, he was recognized by Forbes as a 30 under 30-thought leader in technology and by the World Economic Forum as a 2015 technology pioneer.

    Art Hopkins is an Executive Director in Russell Reynolds’ Information Officer Search Practice. In this capacity he advises clients within the Technology Sector, as well as conducting searches for executives across Russell Reynolds’ clientele. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Art was with Macquarium, an experience design and strategy firm, most recently as CEO and earlier as President.  Prior to joining Macquarium, Art was the managing director and vice president of consulting for Blackwell Consulting Services, a Chicago-based IT Strategy Consultancy. He has held leadership roles at William James and Associates and began his career with the National Bank of Detroit, now Chase Bank. Art is a frequent speaker at CIO events and was featured in the premier issue of Black I.T. Professional Magazine in an article on “The New IT Professional”. He has co- authored pieces for CIO magazine’s Consultant Briefing on subjects including “CIO’s, Mentoring is a Way to Increase Your Success”, “Managing Your Identity Crisis”, and “Becoming the Business-Centric CIO”. Most recently he served as guest editor for the Cutter IT Journal’s June / July 2014 double issue on Empathy–Based System Design. Art is very active in the community and has a personal interest in matters related to education. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for the Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF), and as the chair of the ITSMF Networking Committee, he has served on the Executive Committee for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Georgia’s Commission for School Board Excellence, Junior Achievement of Georgia, and as the Board Chair of the W.E.B. DuBois Society. He has also served on the advisory boards for Vignette Software (acquired by OpenText in 2009) and Diversified Information Technologies (acquired by EDM Group in 2013) through their acquisitions. Having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Maryland and a certificate in eBusiness Strategy from the University of Chicago, he has been recognized by Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry as one of Chicago's top technology innovators.

    Steve is an active speaker and panelist at key industry forums on topics including executive IT leadership development, career management and succession planning.  He is a member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) and the Society for Information Management (SIM).

    Steve earned his undergraduate degree in business from Jacksonville State University in Alabama, along with graduate studies at the University of Texas in Dallas.

    Rohit Lal is responsible for the Enterprise Architecture for CONA, supporting a strategic business transformation initiative of The Coca-Cola Company by developing, deploying, and operating a single instance of an SAP-based business solution for six franchise bottlers. The combined revenue of these businesses is expected to be $22 billion by 2018. 

    Over his career, Rohit has worked in sales and consulting, as well as industry roles, and has led several functions to support business growth and strategy in global and mid-market companies in the Consumer Goods and Industrial/ Electronics verticals. Areas of focus included IT strategy and architecture, infrastructure design and delivery, product lifecycle and application development, governance, outsourcing, procurement and supplier management.                                                    

    Rohit joined The Coca-Cola Company to help select an outsourced managed services and data center provider to host multiple global bottlers in a single instance US-based SAP-centric solution that was subsequently migrated to a private cloud. Recent innovations have included a HANA/ Hadoop data strategy, a Customer Lifecycle SaaS platform for mobile field sales, an API-based approach to deliver loosely coupled applications, cloud integration, and eCommerce and digital content management. Rohit has a Chemical Engineering degree from The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur.

    Jamie MacLean is an Advisory Partner with EY.  Jamie has an extensive background in operational and technology risk management, particularly in the consumer products and retail sectors.  She assists some of the world’s most prestigious companies in identifying, evaluating, managing and monitoring operational risks.  Her previous experience also includes serving as the Technology Audit Director for BankOne and JPMorganChase, where she was responsible for the global IT audit program and for monitoring and assessing some of the largest technology change initiatives in the financial services industry.  Jamie has led several business units, teams and international initiatives at EY.   Jamie is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, a CPA in Georgia, Texas and Ohio and a member of the Information Systems Audit & Control Association.

This is a new position, with responsibility for creating and implementing a unified product strategy across a $3B portfolio of Cox Automotive products and brands. His portfolio includes Manheim, vAuto, Homenet, RMS Automotive, Ready Logistics, and Central Dispatch. In addition to his new role, Michael continues to play the role of Inventory Solutions CTO on an interim basis. In this role he is responsible for engineering the software products and capabilities that power the business.

    Steve Phillips is senior vice president and chief information officer for Avnet, Inc., reporting to Avnet CEO Rick Hamada. He is a member of the Avnet Executive Board and a corporate officer.

    Mr. Phillips came to Avnet with the 2005 acquisition of Memec, where he served as senior vice president and chief information officer since 2004. Prior to joining Memec, Mr. Phillips was senior vice president and chief information officer for Gateway Inc. He was previously the IT leader for Diageo’s European foods business. Early in his career, he served in a number of engineering and operations leadership roles at Thorn EMI.

    Under Mr. Phillips' leadership, Avnet has been recognized with multiple IT awards, including CIO 100, InfoWorld Green 15 and InformationWeek Elite 100. In 2015, Mr. Phillips was inducted into CIO magazine’s CIO Hall of Fame, a lifetime achievement that honors IT executives and visionaries whose leadership has significantly impacted the field of IT. Additionally, he received an HMG Strategy Transformational CIO Leadership Award in 2012 and was named a Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader in 2011.

    Mr. Phillips is chairman of the board at Wick Communications, a news and specialty publications company. From 2008 through 2011, he served as chairman of the board of the Arizona Technology Council, a trade association that represents Arizona's technology industry.

    Mr. Phillips holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from Essex University and a post-graduate Diploma in Management Studies from the University of West London.  He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

    Mark Polansky is a Senior Partner in Korn Ferry’s Information Technology Officers Center of Expertise, an executive search practice he headed up for more than twelve years. He has been based in the firm’s New York office since joining Korn Ferry in 1997.

    Mark has extensively recruited chief information officers, chief technology officers, chief information security officers and other senior IT leadership talent across varied vertical sectors including Industrial, Consumer, Life Sciences and Higher Education. His consultative approach to search encompasses talent strategy, organization design, search process and diversity recruiting. Mark ’s clients range from the Fortune 100 (McKesson, General Electric, Hewlett-Packard, Boeing) to smaller high-growth companies (Under Armour, Regeneron, DirecTV) as well as prestigious public and private universities (Harvard, Rockefeller, University of Florida).

    Before entering the search field, Mark developed and marketed information systems within the Financial Services and Higher Education sectors. He currently serves on the Advisory Committee for Columbia University's executive graduate program in Information Technology Management.

    Mark frequently addresses conferences and writes on information technology and career management topics.  He is the creator of the “Executive Career Counsel” column in CIO Magazine and on CIO.com. He is a member of the Society for Information Management (SIM) and has served as President of the New York Chapter. He sits on the Advisory Boards of The Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF), the national organization dedicated to fostering executive talent among African-American IT professionals, and HITEC, the Hispanic Information Technology Executive Council.

    Mark holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from Pratt Institute and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Union College.

    John Radzikinas is the Senior Director of IT Project Management at Exide Technologies in Milton, GA.  Exide is a global manufacturer of lead acid batteries for transportation, motive power and network power applications.  In addition to managing the global IT PMO and IT project management practice at Exide, he manages the Enterprise Applications team and the Corporate IT budget.

    John has an extensive IT, manufacturing, management, international, project management, portfolio management and consulting background in software systems development, implementation, integration, training and support.  Prior to joining Exide, John held roles of IT leadership at various companies including:  Genzyme, Freudenberg-NOK and GE.

    John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and is a graduate of the GE Manufacturing Management program.  He is a certified PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) and is Green Belt certified in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Bill has 30 years of experience in the information technology (IT) field and has held increasingly responsible positions. Bill established the first NCR captive IT development center in India, championed the engineering processes to achieve the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Level 3, and has driven world-class levels of both efficiency and improved effectiveness via a combined IT and business governance.  As a result of implementing leading practice strategies, his organization is consistently named to the Information Week500, and was listed in CIO magazine’s 2014 CIO 100 and Bill was named CIO of the year in Georgia for 2011. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree, Cum Laude, from The Ohio State University and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dayton.
