  • Richard Cammish

    Richard has been Group CIO for the past 6 years at Coats, the world’s leading manufacturer of industrial threads and yarns.  Sitting on the Management Board and heading the Coats Global Technology function, he has led a dramatic change in the way that digital technology solutions and services have been deployed across Coats.  These have driven significant improvements to internal productivity and external customer service at a time when Coats has made a series of acquisitions and disposals, as well as re-listing on the London Stock Exchange.  As well as bringing over 19,000 employees across 150+ sites closer together using the latest collaboration tools and implementing new technologies in Finance and Supply Chain, Coats has moved over 60% of customer orders to an online channel over the last 2 years.

    Prior to Coats, Richard has worked in other international businesses like Heineken, Cadbury, British American Tobacco and Mars as well as running a start up in the late 90s.  He has also lived in Asia, Europe and the US.  He currently lives in the UK and is married with 2 boys of University age.  In his spare time he enjoys getting outside to play cricket, golf and being reckless on his mountain bike.

    Gavin Colman is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and is a member of the global Technology & Services Practice.

    With over 10 years experience in executive search, Gavin works with companies across various sectors to fill their senior IT roles (e.g., CIO, CTO) and with technology companies to fill the broad range of executive roles.

    Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Gavin was a partner at a boutique executive search firm as the head of their technology and CIO division. Previously, Gavin was an executive director at an international search firm.

Prior to ON Semiconductor, he was vice president and CIO for Biomet LLC ($2.4Bn) where he was a member of their executive team which transformed Biomet in preparation for an IPO. Prior to Biomet he was vice president and CIO at ArivnMeritor Inc. ($10Bn). He has been progressively promoted in his career as well as held positions with global companies overseas. Mr. Haskew holds a master of science (MSc) in IT and change management and a masters in business administration (MBA). He also maintains memberships in the British Computer Society as a fellow, Chartered IT Professional (CITP) and Chartered Engineer (CEng).

  • John Iannarelli

    John G. Iannarelli recently retired from the FBI after more than 20 years of service, during which he was a member of the SWAT Team and participated in the investigations of the Oklahoma City Bombing, the 9/11 attack, and the Congresswoman Gabriel Giffords shooting.  John previously served at FBI Headquarters as their national spokesperson and on the Cyber Division Executive staff.  In Phoenix, John was the Cyber squad supervisor before promotion to Assistant Special Agent in Charge, the number two position overseeing all Criminal, Cyber, and Counter Intelligence investigations throughout Arizona.  John has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Computer Science for his contributions to the field of cyber investigations.

    John is the author of several other books, to include Why Teens Fail and What to Fix, a parents’ guide to protecting their children from Internet predators and other dangers, and Information Governance Security, how businesses can protect their sensitive data from loss or compromise.  His recently released How to Stop A Terrorist, is a guide for the average person to recognize and help prevent terrorism. John is a highly sought after speaker and has presented to Fortune 500 companies, domestic and international audiences, the United Nations, and the Vatican where he met personally with Pope Francis to discuss the evolution of cyber crime.

    A former San Diego Police Officer and a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law, to include studies of international criminal and civil law at Oxford, England, John is also an attorney admitted to the practice of law in California, Maryland and the District of Columbia. He is currently a private consultant, whose clients have included the both the FBI and a national professional sports league.

    Sven Petersen, based in London, advises clients on leadership talent in the technology, digital, and communications sectors. Sven leads Egon Zehnder’s Information Technology Officers Practice in the UK and is active in the firm’s Leadership Strategy Services Practice. He does senior level executive and non-executive work for PLCs as well as private and PE portfolio businesses. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Sven was Founder and Managing Director of P5 Management in London. Previously, he was a Senior Consultant with Fathom Partners and an Associate with the media advisory firm Spectrum Strategy Consultants, both in London. Sven earned an MSc in Executive Coaching from Ashridge Business School and a BSc in International Relations from London School of Economics and Political Science.

  • John Raucci

    John G. Raucci is the former Assistant Director of the FBI's Human Resources Division.  He is now employed as the Director of Investigations for the National Football League.  

    A 25-year veteran of the FBI, John Raucci was born and raised in ChicagoIllinois. He earned both his undergraduate degree (Business Administration) and his graduate degree from colleges in the state of Illinois, and also earned a law degree from the Detroit College of Law. Raucci joined the FBI in 1987 as a Special Agent, and was assigned to field operation assignments in Phoenix, Arizona; Detroit, Michigan; Chicago, Illinois, and Jackson, Mississippi.  

    Raucci was promoted to FBI Headquarters in 1998 and assigned to the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) and the Inspection Division.  He served three separate executive tours at FBI Headquarters, including a 2004 assignment as the Chief of the Security Operations Section of the Security Division. 

    In December 2006, Raucci was promoted to the position/rank of Assistant Director overseeing, among other things, the administrative services of the FBI.  In July 2009, Raucci was selected to oversee FBI operations in London, England, and to serve as the FBI on-scene executive for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

    Raucci retired from the FBI in September 2012, for a position with the NFL.  He is married and has four adult children.

    Federal Bureau of Investigation Representative to the United Kingdom, Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey, and The Isle of Man whose chief mission is to establish and maintain liaison with principal law enforcement services regarding complex financial crime investigations, foreign bribery and anti-corruption investigations, anti money laundering and general criminal investigative matters.

  • Dave Roberts

    County of San Diego, CA

    In the three years since Dave Roberts was elected to the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, he has earned a reputation for energetic leadership, collaboration and service to constituents. 

    His focus on improved public safety has him working closely with the Deputy Sheriffs' Association, Police Officers Association, Sheriff Bill Gore and District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis.  His other legislative priorities include the County’s foster care and adoption services, domestic and child abuse, the groundbreaking Alzheimer’s Project, renewable energy alternatives and conservation and open space preservation.  He has worked effectively with the other Board members to achieve a triple-A credit rating for the County, with a healthy reserve fund, no deferred maintenance and no new taxes.

    Dave brought experience from the public, private and nonprofit sectors to his position as the Third District Supervisor.  Prior to his election, Dave completed two terms on the Solana Beach City Council and served as the city’s Mayor and Deputy Mayor. He began his public service as a Commissioner for the Solana Beach Budget and Finance Committee and Vice Chair for the Friends of the Solana Beach Library.

    Dave is a former corporate officer for SAIC, a Fortune 500 company. He also founded, owns and operates his own multi-state real estate management company and was a senior manager for the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, an international nonprofit organization. In that role, Dave drew upon his background as an appointed health policy advisor in the Administrations of both President Barack Obama and former President George W. Bush. Dave also worked for the U.S. Air Force at the Pentagon and in Europe. He played a key role in developing TRICARE, the military's health insurance system.

    Dave currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Supervisors, 2nd Vice President of the California State Association of Counties, Chair of SANDAG’s Shoreline Preservation Committee and as immediate past Chair of the San Dieguito River Park Joint Powers Authority.  Dave lives in Solana Beach with his family and has six children, ages 2 through 19.

  • Kevin Sealy

    Mr. Sealy has 30 years of experience in the information technology industry. He specializes in appointing senior information technology professionals across all industry sectors, and has worked with many leading companies on high profile chief information officer related placements. In his previous position as a partner in IBM Business Consulting Services (formerly PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting), he led the delivery of technology strategy and systems integration work with blue-chip clients internationally. His client consulting work focused on the management of the IT organization and the delivery of complex technology and systems projects, including programme management, IT transformation, technology strategy and IT management. Mr. Sealy began his career as a graduate trainee in the IT department at Mobil Oil Company Ltd.  He holds a master's degree in physics from Oxford University. He is a member of the Institute of Business Consulting (MIBC) and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).

    Dave Smoley assumed his current position as Chief Information Officer for AstraZeneca in 2013. Previously, Mr. Smoley was Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President for Flextronics International Ltd., serving there since 2006. Prior to Flextronics, Mr. Smoley served in various roles at Honeywell, including Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Honeywell’s Aerospace Electronics Systems.  Before joining Honey­well, he was Vice President and limited partner for Lovett Miller & Co., Venture Capital.  Mr. Smoley has held various management positions with General Electric, including the position of Chief Information Officer and director for GE Power Controls in Barcelona, Spain.  Mr. Smoley’s extensive information technology career also includes various IT positions with J.P. Morgan. Mr. Smoley holds a BS in Computer Science from Clemson University and an MBA from the University of Virginia.   

  • Craig Walker

    Shell International Petroleum Company

    Craig Walker joined Shell Downstream as Global CIO in July 2014. He came to this role following an assignment in Shell Trading and Supply, where he served for 6 years as the global CIO based in Houston, Texas. He is also a member of the RDS IT Executive.

    He has nearly 28 years’ experience with Shell, in both the Upstream and Downstream IT functions. During this time, he has had overseas assignments in Colombia, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the USA and worked in the UK in both London and Aberdeen.

    Craig, who graduated in Chemical Engineering and joined Shell in 1981, also spent five years from 1998 with KPMG Consulting, where he managed strategy, large system implementations and process change programmes for major global clients.

    Craig now lives in London with his wife and has two daughters (26, 25) and a son (22). His interests are wide and varied; with top of the list being sports, theatre, music, travel, good food and great wine.
