EXECUTIVE KEYNOTE: The Pivotal CIO: Driving Data-Based Digital Transformation

Bobby Caudill, Director, Solutions, Informatica

Digital Transformation. The notion is being used to both disrupt and respond to disruption. As CIOs continue their never-ending goal to be in the right place to respond to the needs of their organizations, it is critical that they recognize that the importance of data has shifted. Forward looking organizations and CIOs alike are pivoting their approach, adapting their priorities in favor of data over applications. Once the bulwark of the business, the focus on applications has become secondary to the data that fuels them. In an interesting paradox, the functionality of applications has become so sophisticated that they only deliver full value when powered by trusted data, data that often originates outside the application.

During this talk, Bobby will share insights, and best practices gleaned from industry leading brands such as Hyatt and GE, as well as from Informatica’s data-based digital transformation.
