  • Ramón Baez
    Former SVP, Customer Evangelist

    Ramón Baez is the Former Senior Vice President, Customer Evangelist for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Ramón champions customer centricity. Hewlett Packard Enterprise believes in relationship to drive the company’s business. In his role, he advised customers and partners through frank practitioner-to-practitioner discussions on how to make and implement decisions about emerging digital technologies in their operations, products and business models; which will have a positive impact in the market place.

    Ramón joined Hewlett-Packard in 2012, as a senior vice president and global chief information officer (CIO), a role in which he oversaw the worldwide information technology (IT) strategy and all of the company’s IT assets that supported Hewlett-Packard employees and helped to drive strategic company priorities. This included global application development, the company’s private cloud, IT security, data management, technology infrastructure, and telecommunication networks. He also serves as chairman of enterprise-wide Diversity & Inclusion Board, an entity that serves as the strategic governing body for global diversity and inclusion (D&I) at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. The board works closely with company leaders to champion the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

    His career spans 40 years at global Fortune 100 companies in the manufacturing, packaged goods, aerospace and defense industries, and products and services for the scientific community. Prior to HP, he held chief information officers positions at Kimberly Clark Corp., Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. and Honeywell’s Automation and Control Solutions group. Ramón began his career at Northrop Grumman, where he spent 25 years and finished as CIO for its electronics systems sensor sector.

    He continues to serve on boards of DocuSign, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula, EdSource, Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC), Trpz.com as well as his most recent appointment as Board of Directors for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals boards.

    He deeply believes that business leaders need to take really good care of themselves, as if they were corporate athletes.

    He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of La Verne in California.

  • Todd Barnum

    Todd Barnum is the Chief Information Security Officer for GoPro in San Mateo California.  In this role, he leads the information security team, and helps GoPro secure its critical information assets.

    Prior to GoPro, Todd spent time at two consulting firms, KPMG LLP, and Forrester Research.  In both positions Todd led Information Security Consulting Practices.   

    Prior to these consultant gigs, Todd was the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Warner Bros Entertainment in Burbank California.  At the same time Todd also had the pleasure of serving Warner Bros as the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture, and was responsible for architecting and securing the transition from and entirely insourced IT model to one that was entirely outsourced and off-shored. 

    Prior to Warner Bros, Todd spent 8 years at AMGEN, headquartered in Los Angeles where he served as Corporate Director and Chief Information Security Officer. 

    Early in his career, Todd learned the details of information security as a Naval Officer managing some of the Navy’s largest telecommunication systems.  Todd got his Masters in Telecommunications from the United States Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey California, and his Bachelors from the University of Hawaii. 

    Todd is also an Adjunct Professor at California Luther University where he’s taught computer science courses since 2001.  Todd also served as a Board member of the Ventura County YMCA, and was a part Orange County’s Big Brother Big Sister Program.

  • Bob Concannon

    Bob Concannon is a Senior Client Partner within the San Francisco office of Korn Ferry. He is a member of the Firm’s Global Technology Market. Mr. Concannon brings to Korn/Ferry over 10 years of technology executive search experience, leading numerous CIO and CTO searches across industries. He also serves on Korn/Ferry's Information Technology Officers Center of Expertise. Furthermore, Mr. Concannon leads searches in the software and IT communities on assignments for clients in the areas of cloud, mobility and enterprise software. Venture capitalists and private equity firms look to his expertise around helping Internet startups migrate to the next executive level as they receive their post Series B and C funding rounds.

    Prior to his current position, Mr. Concannon served as the managing director of another global executive search firm, leading the technology practice, U.S. Additionally, he led the firm’s global technology vertical for seven years, coordinating worldwide search activity in the technology sector with Fortune 100 top accounts. Previously, Mr. Concannon served in sales and marketing roles for both Pioneer Electronics and Sony Corporation. Mr. Concannon served the Internet industry from its early inception in the 90s by working with then unknown startups Netscape and Yahoo! His portfolio clients have included well-established companies like Microsoft, Oracle, 3Com, Cisco and Nokia, and a host of start-up companies funded by tier-1 venture capital. He has completed over 500 search projects in his career with many of those projects reaching successful IPOs. Published and quoted often in The Wall Street Journal, San Jose Mercury News, CFO and CIO Magazines, as well as being featured twice on ABC’s World News Tonight with Peter Jennings in their Silicon Valley report, Mr. Concannon has served as an expert on Silicon Valley trends for over 15 years. He has been a guest lecturer at The University of California Berkeley and Stanford University. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of the Pacific.

    Beth Devin is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB). With $36 billion in assets and more than 1,800 employees, SVB provides commercial, international and private banking services to the world's most innovative companies and exclusive wineries. As CIO, Beth is responsible for all client-facing and internal technology innovation, business systems, and production operations and support.  Beth has more than 30 years of technology leadership and management experience and previously was EVP/CTO of Manilla.com, a web and mobile consumer financial service, wholly owned by the Hearst Corporation, and before that CTO/CIO at Art.com and Blackhawk Network. She has also held technology leadership positions at the Charles Schwab Corporation, Turner Broadcasting Systems, Pacific Bell Directory and Bechtel. Outside of work, Beth is a board trustee for the Freedom from Hunger organization, and is a member of the International Women’s Forum (IWF) and We are Watermark. Beth has a BS, Computer Science from San Francisco State University.

Mark has been repeatedly recognized for his leadership and success in scaling IT organizations to support rapid growth companies.

    Prior to joining StrataFusion, Mark was a CIO at VMware where he led the company from a server virtualization vendor with $2 billion in revenue to a $5 billion market leader of cloud solutions. During his 6 years as CIO at Symantec, Mark’s leadership in IT was instrumental in supporting the company’s transformation from $600 million consumer software publisher to a $5 billion market leader of enterprise security solutions. He held senior level positions with companies in a variety of industries, including Sun Microsystems, Price Waterhouse, and Wells Fargo Bank.

    Mark holds a master’s degree in finance and international business from University of San Diego and a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences from University of Clarion. Mark developed and taught a graduate class, “Building Business Value through IT Innovation”, at the Haas School of Business at University of California at Berkeley.

    Sheila Jordan is senior vice president and chief information officer at Symantec. Sheila is responsible for driving Symantec's information technology strategy and operations ensuring that the company has the right talent, stays ahead of technology trends and maximizes the value of technology investments. Her goal is to drive increased productivity, better efficiency and strategic business partnerships through simple and intuitive experiences for Symantec’s global workforce. Prior to joining Symantec in February 2014, Sheila served as senior vice president of Communication and Collaboration IT at Cisco Systems. Here she was responsible for delivering and integrating key IT services that touched Cisco’s global workforce. She drove productivity and a superior, holistic end-user experience for all employees through an integrated architectural approach. Within her purview at Cisco were collaboration platforms, user experience and support, and communications, collaboration and mobility services. During her nine-year tenure at Cisco, Sheila’s IT organization was recognized by the industry with awards presented by CITE, InformationWeek and CIO Magazine. She also received the 2010 Cisco Executive Sponsor Catalyst award for her leadership in developing successful relationships with customers, including several Fortune 100 companies. Active in social media, this year Sheila was recognized by ZDNet as one of the Top 100 CIOs on Twitter. In 2011, Sheila was named by CIO Magazine as “One to Watch.” She is a frequent speaker and spokesperson on the topics of collaboration, the consumerization of IT, IT as a service organization, and women’s leadership. Her views are included in the new book, “The Mobile Mind Shift” by author and Forrester analyst Ted Schadler. Earlier in her career Sheila worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, where she was senior vice president of Destination Disney. A key architect of the strategic planning process, she was responsible for delivering profitable growth. She was instrumental in integrating marketing, sales, and services across the organization as Disney transformed its business from a product-centric to a guest-centric organization. Sheila serves on the Board of Directors for NextSpace, a Santa Cruz, CA-based firm that provides innovative physical and virtual infrastructure for entrepreneurs, freelancers and creative professionals. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology.

    Tony Leng is a Managing Director at Diversified Search and leads the CIO and Technology practices. He also manages the firm’s San Francisco office. Previously, Tony was Managing Partner of Hodge Partners. Tony has conducted senior IT management searches for organizations such as Axalta, Delta Dental, Kaiser Permanente, Dignity Health, Franklin Templeton Investments, Visa, Esurance, Levi Strauss, Blue Shield, TE Connectivity, REI, PG&E, and Polycom. Tony specializes in CIO search and is a frequent speaker at CIO conferences.     Tony has facilitated the Fisher CIO Forum for the past ten years.     Prior to McKesson, McElligott served as the CIO of Emerson, a St. Louis-based global manufacturing and technology company, where she managed the company’s information technology strategy and information security for its global operations, including hardware, software, and services, as well as its telecommunications and data center infrastructure.

    McElligott sits on the board of directors at ArcBest, a publicly traded $2.6B freight transportation and logistics company.

Jeff previously worked at Credit Suisse and was a founding employee at Union Square Advisors. He has a computer science degree from Brown University and played for the #1 nationally ranked Stanford baseball team.

    Naresh Shanker is Chief Information Officer of HP where he leads the company’s global IT strategy and operations. His responsibilities include application development, data management, technology infrastructure, data center operations and telecommunication networks to enable the company’s digital transformation. 

    Naresh’s experience within the IT industry spans more than 25 years and incorporates supporting a wide range of industries including high-tech manufacturing, semiconductor, medical, life sciences and software businesses. He has also led and executed large scale software implementations, outsourcing, mergers and acquisitions, and has established offshore IT and manufacturing operations. 

    Most recently, Naresh was Vice President and CIO of the HP Printing & Personal Systems Group, which included IT responsibilities for engineering and globally deploying Supply Chain, HP.com, Marketing, Communications and Big Data/Analytics solutions. 

    Prior to joining HP’s Printing and Personal Systems Group, Naresh was Vice President and CIO for Palm, Inc., where he had management responsibility for the IT strategy and all of the company’s IT assets. In addition, Naresh was instrumental in launching the webOS products and platform to enable the App Catalog, mobile commerce and cloud services, as well as webOS.com e-commerce operations. 

    Prior to joining Palm, Naresh was responsible for managing Agilent Technologies’ enterprise business solutions organization, delivering customer-facing and supply chain solutions worldwide. 

    Naresh began his career at HP in the Medical Products Group, where he led the GBU’s IT team that was responsible for delivering applications and infrastructure solutions and services worldwide, as well as integrating acquisitions into the business. He also was instrumental in establishing a joint venture manufacturing center in Qingdao, China. 

    Naresh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.

The early stages of Mr. Sunderland’s banking career centered on risk management cycle responsibilities within the Retail Banking product suite, including credit cards, auto & personal loans, and home loans.
