She has held numerous executive roles in IT and software development, in Telecom and financial industries, most recently serving 5 years as Head of Product Development at Siemens Canada.

    Jenny holds a Bachelor degree in Statistics & Computer Science, a Bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA in Management Information Systems & Technology. A Certified Scrum Master and a Mentor at the Ministry of Economic Development, Employment & Infrastructure, she is interested in corporate development, public sector institutional strengthening and emerging technology management.

    Gale has been a technology executive for 30 years, twenty of those in the retail sector.  She has been VP/CIO for Loblaw (East), Eatons, Indigo, Walmart and Holt Renfrew.  She also was global Chief Architect for Walmart Stores Inc.  Throughout her career her focus has been on creating value for the enterprise through investment in Information Technology.  For 10 years she worked in the federal government.  She was the CIO and Director General for the department of Canadian Heritage and Public Works and Government Services respectively.  In this work she brought a set of capabilities and models to the public sector enterprises to enable the creation of high performing IT environments.  Gale enjoys her garden, good hikes and a lovely lake.  She is the proud mother of 3 adult children and a grandson.

    As the CIO of Mercedes-Benz Canada, she is responsible for leading the organization’s IT strategy. In addition to ensuring existing infrastructure and systems are operationally stable, she identifies opportunities for IT innovation, prioritizing projects that support overall business strategy.

    Originally from South Africa, Zelma held IT leadership roles in Africa, Asia and Europe prior to her current position with Mercedes-Benz Canada. With experience working in complex political environments, she understands the importance of working collaboratively with key stakeholders in order to drive change and digital transformation. While at Mercedes-Benz Canada, Zelma spearheaded a Digital Transformation Focus Group, gathering feedback from employees from across the organization in order to inform the IT strategy, creating a roadmap to make the organization more digitally efficient and effective.
