  • Todd Barnum
    CISO
    GoPro Inc.

    Todd Barnum is the Chief Information Security Officer for GoPro in San Mateo California.  In this role, he leads the information security team, and helps GoPro secure its critical information assets.

    Prior to GoPro, Todd spent time at two consulting firms, KPMG LLP, and Forrester Research.  In both positions Todd led Information Security Consulting Practices.   

    Prior to these consultant gigs, Todd was the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Warner Bros Entertainment in Burbank California.  At the same time Todd also had the pleasure of serving Warner Bros as the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture, and was responsible for architecting and securing the transition from and entirely insourced IT model to one that was entirely outsourced and off-shored. 

    Prior to Warner Bros, Todd spent 8 years at AMGEN, headquartered in Los Angeles where he served as Corporate Director and Chief Information Security Officer. 

    Early in his career, Todd learned the details of information security as a Naval Officer managing some of the Navy’s largest telecommunication systems.  Todd got his Masters in Telecommunications from the United States Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey California, and his Bachelors from the University of Hawaii. 

    Todd is also an Adjunct Professor at California Luther University where he’s taught computer science courses since 2001.  Todd also served as a Board member of the Ventura County YMCA, and was a part Orange County’s Big Brother Big Sister Program.

  • Steve Booth
    VP & Chief Security Officer

    As the Chief Security Officer, Steven Booth is in charge of leading all aspects of IT security at FireEye.  This includes the ongoing development and execution of enterprise-wide security architecture and monitoring programs, as well as technology risk and compliance.  Steven directs the implementation of security controls, standards, policies and procedures to ensure continuous monitoring and protection of information systems and physical property while ensuring that compliance is maintained against both corporate security policies and industry standards.

     

    Prior to joining FireEye, Steven was the AVP of Information Security and CISO at Manulife/John Hancock in Boston, Massachusetts, where he had global responsibility for all IT security in the US, Canada, and 11 countries in Asia.  He previously held the role of Cybersecurity Architect at Microsoft, and ran security operations for VeriSign’s MSSP.  Steven has a B.S. in Business Management from CSUH, and a Master’s degree in Digital Security from Golden Gate University.

    Mr. Cummings is a recognized leader in advising organizations on the recruitment, assessment, development, and retention of information technology as well as information security & risk management talent at all levels, including the Board of Directors. His clients range from large global corporations to high growth entrepreneurial companies, spanning all industries. In addition to Chief Information Officers, Chief Information Security Officers, and their key leaders, he also recruits cybersecurity consultants for leading professional services firms as well as top executives for cybersecurity technology companies and managed security services providers.     Prior to Korn Ferry, Mr. Cummings served as an associate principal in the industrial, supply chain, and transportation & logistics practices of another leading executive search firm, where he executed senior executive search assignments for both public and private equity-backed companies. He also served clients in the consumer & retail, technology, government & defense, biotechnology, and education sectors.

    Prior to his career in executive search, Mr. Cummings was a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group in Dallas, where he worked on a wide variety of projects with clients in the aerospace & defense, consumer finance, telecommunications, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and education industries.
    Earlier in his career, he served nine years with distinction as an officer in the U.S. Navy's SEAL teams.

    He earned a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University, and graduated with merit with a bachelor of science in aeronautical engineering from The United States Naval Academy.

    Prior to joining StrataFusion, Mark was a CIO at VMware where he led the company from a server virtualization vendor with $2 billion in revenue to a $5 billion market leader of cloud solutions. During his 6 years as CIO at Symantec, Mark’s leadership in IT was instrumental in supporting the company’s transformation from $600 million consumer software publisher to a $5 billion market leader of enterprise security solutions. He held senior level positions with companies in a variety of industries, including Sun Microsystems, Price Waterhouse, and Wells Fargo Bank.

    Mark holds a master’s degree in finance and international business from University of San Diego and a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences from University of Clarion. Mark developed and taught a graduate class, “Building Business Value through IT Innovation”, at the Haas School of Business at University of California at Berkeley.

    Prior to founding Cybric, Mike Kail was Yahoo’s CIO and SVP of Infrastructure, where he led the IT and Data Center functions for the company. He has more than 24 years of IT Operations experience with a focus on highly-scalable architectures.

    Prior to joining Yahoo, Mike served as VP of IT Operations at Netflix, where he was responsible for Employee Technology and various Engineering components. Before that role, Mike was VP of IT Operations at Attensity, where he was responsible for the Americas data center operations team; including managing various Big Data systems with their Hadoop cluster, HBase and MongoDB components.

    He has been widely recognized for his insightful industry commentary on social media, and was recently named by the Huffington Post as one of the “Top 100 Most Social CIOs on Twitter.”

    He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University.

    Mike is based in Los Gatos, CA, where he lives with his wife and two sons.

    Matthew Rosenquist joined Intel Corp in 1996 and benefits from nearly 25 years in the field of security. Mr. Rosenquist specializes in security strategy, measuring value, and developing cost effective capabilities and organizations which deliver the optimal level of security.  Currently, a cyber-security strategist for the Intel Security Group, he helped in the formation of this industry leading organization which brings together security across hardware, firmware, software and services.

    Mr. Rosenquist built and managed Intel’s first global 24x7 Security Operations Center, oversaw several internal platform security products and services, deployed the enterprise intrusion detection program, and was Intel’s first Incident Commander for worldwide IT emergency responses.  He has conducted investigations and risk assessments in defense of corporate assets and managed the security playbook for Intel’s strategy planning group, encompassing all security features landing in the PC architecture.  Mr. Rosenquist ran security for Intel’s multi-billion dollar mergers and acquisitions activities and justified the security strategy protecting Intel’s global manufacturing capability.  His development of the Threat Agent Risk Assessment (TARA) methodology to optimize security, has influenced how organizations view and prioritize risks. 

    Mr. Rosenquist is very active in the industry, speaks at conferences, consults with industry partners, member of advisory boards for cyber education, and has published acclaimed white papers, blogs, and videos on a wide range of information security topics.  He is very passionate about security and information technology, his chosen career path, and strives to blend practical risk mitigation practices and information technology capabilities to achieve an optimal level of security.
