    Former VP & CIO

    Robin is formerly the VP and Chief Information Officer, having company-wide responsibility for the information technology environment, strategic business planning with the Operating and Business Services Group Constituents and implementation of technologies that support Mortenson’s core missions. Robin has over 20 years of senior leadership experience focused on propelling relationships between Business Operations and IT delivery while providing strategic leadership in business development, capital planning, strategic roadmap development and complex program delivery.

    Prior to joining Mortenson, Robin served as Senior Director, IT Operations at UnitedHealth Group where she spent over five years building out the IT operations capability and customer relationship management areas of their Medicaid business. She developed the Office of the CIO model to transform their business, established a 3 year strategy to migrate legacy applications to one strategic platform and drove operational stability in order to grow their Medicaid business. 

    Robin held similar positions at Accenture, Best Buy and Arcadia Financial where she promoted a customer-focused environment while driving complex cross-matrix programs, business transformation, outsourcing and off-shore operations and operational stability. Robin drove many continuous improvement programs based on operational excellence, program management and best practice methodologies.

    Robin graduated from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design. She is active in the community and is currently the President and Founding Board Member of the West Lakes Chapter of National Charity League, focusing on mothers and daughters volunteering together. She is part of the Governing Body for both the Minneapolis Evanta CIO Executive Summit and the Minneapolis HMG CIO Executive Leadership Summit.  Robin has twin 16 year-old daughters and enjoys playing volleyball, getting involved in her daughters’ sports, traveling with her daughters, volunteering, hanging out around her fire pit indulging in her favorite fine wine and riding her Harley.

    Today, Mignona serves as the Chief Information Security Officer for two Aetna subsidiaries, PayFlex and Phoenix Hosting Services.     Earlier in his career, he served nine years with distinction as an officer in the U.S. Navy's SEAL teams.

    Nate has presented at dozens of industry conferences and has written articles which have appeared in publications such as the Harvard Business Review.

    Nate received a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Iowa where he was a Hancher-Finkbine nominee. He received an M.B.A. (with honors) from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

John most recently served as CIO of Workday Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based enterprise applications for human resource management, payroll and finance, where he worked closely with IT leaders and their teams to realize the full benefits of cloud computing. He was an integral part of Workday’s senior leadership team and played a key role in the company achieving and maintaining the highest IT standards and processes. John was previously the CIO at H. B. Fuller Company and Agriliance and also held leadership positions with the Society for Information Management (SIM), First Health, CIGNA, Unisource Network Services and Transora. For ten years, he has also served as a facilitator for SIM’s Leadership Forum and he is a founding member of the CIO Executive Council. He is also a mentor in the CIO Executive Council’s Pathways program and a contributing writer to CIO magazine. John was selected as a ‘Premier 100 IT Leader’ by Computerworld Magazine in 2006 and was presented the CIO Executive Council’s Leadership Award in 2008. Under his leadership, H.B. Fuller was ranked among the ‘Top 500’ leaders in business technology by Information Week in 2009 and he was also recognized by Information Week in 2010 as an industry innovator for his work implementing cloud solutions. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Utah and completed graduate work at Temple University.

  • Jeff Kubacki

    Jeff Kubacki was formerly the Senior Vice President and Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) for ATK, a Fortune 500 aerospace, defense, and commercial products company.

    Jeff joined ATK in November, 2010. As the company’s primary IT strategist, Jeff planned, developed and oversaw ATK’s information technology infrastructure, applications and resources. He also supported the company’s efforts to remain competitive and compliant with regard to information systems in addition to leading the Indirect Supply Management organization.

    From 2007 to 2010, Jeff served as Chief Information Officer for the Kroll division of the Marsh & McLennan Companies. In that role he was responsible for Kroll’s worldwide information systems and services functions.

    Previously he served as Vice President, Information Technology for Ecolab, where he assumed responsibility for multiple areas as part of his global leadership role. Prior to that, he served as Director of Information Technology for Dell Inc., providing IT leadership to the Americas Service Delivery business. Jeff uses his significant experience in both domestic and international IT requirements to support ATK’s growth initiative in current and emerging markets, including international expansions.

    Jeff holds an M.B.A. from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL, and received his Bachelor of Technology degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY. Prior to that Jeff attended United States Military Academy, West Point, NY. He is a national speaker and has written numerous published articles. Jeff was the recipient of the 2011 Twin Cities CIO of the Year and was ranked number 13 in the 2012 Top 500 CIO’s according to ExecRank.

The CIO Executive Leadership Summit is created for CIOs/IT leaders. It also has strong appeal to leaders interested in better positioning their organizations and themselves for what's ahead in business and to achieve the greatest benefits through the use of information technology. 

To ensure a high quality environment and to maximize the networking experience, all attendees must be:

  • Employed C-Level executives (non-vendor) or equivalent, CIOs, Direct Reports of CIOs, or Senior Most IT Professional in an organization with $200M or greater revenue, or from not-for-profit or government organizations with comparable size

- OR - 

  • Full time academicians

If you meet the criteria above, there is no fee to attend.

All registration requests will be reviewed and approved based upon above stated criteria.
