    Bashir Agboola is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at the Hospital for Special Surgery, the global leader in musculoskeletal care. Bashir has an extensive leadership and varied professional background, ranging from IT Systems integration, Consulting and Healthcare IT. He has spent much of the last two decades serving in various capacities at top-tier academic medical institutions. Prior to joining HSS in 2014, he served at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where he ran the Enterprise Systems group.

    Bashir is a former board member of the New Jersey chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM), and a current member of VMWare’s Healthcare Customer Advisory Board.

    He holds a number of professional certifications, as well as  Bachelor and Master Degrees in Computer Science, and an MBA degree with a concentration in Finance.

  • Yuri Aguiar

    Yuri Aguiar is the Director of Innovation and Transformation at The Ogilvy Group and, prior to that, he was the Strategic Portfolio Director on the leadership team at WPP Coretech.

    Yuri has been a CIO, CTO and Director of Worldwide Technology Operations over his 18-year stint as a Global Leader in business technology. He prides himself in leading small efficient teams of independent thinkers that challenge the status quo. Currently studying for his Masters in Digital Marketing, Yuri uses his downtime on a flight simulator hoping to make it real someday.

    His love for music continues to find expression outside of work. Yuri has helped organize charity concerts for Breast Cancer, US Veterans and for victims of the tsunami in Japan - often playing with the band.

    He religiously follows his own business motto that “Good execution eats strategy for lunch.”

    Renee Arrington offers clients over 20 years’ experience in retained executive search. She excels in recruiting senior executive talent for Fortune 500 companies, private-equity-backed businesses and not-for-profit organizations. She is a member the Pearson Partners board of directors and leads the firm’s Fort Worth office and CIO and IT leadership practice with clients in technology, retail, financial services, business services, distribution and R&D. Renee conducts searches for board members, presidents and executive directors among other senior leadership positions.

    Renee was named one of the top 40 Gatekeepers to the C-Suite by Hunt Scanlon Media, a search industry analyst. She is an active member of IIC Partners and the Association for Executive Search Consultants (AESC).

    In addition to serving on Pearson Partners’ board of directors, Renee serves on the boards of directors of the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM), the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) North Texas Chapter and the Foundation for the Young Women’s Leadership Academy in Fort Worth. She is an executive committee member of Dallas Executive Women’s Roundtable (EWR) and a member of Fort Worth’s Women Steering Business (WSB). Renee has previously served on the board of North Texas Public Broadcasting (NPR Affiliate) and was board chairman of both the YWCA of Fort Worth and Tarrant County and the Fort Worth Westside YMCA.

    Renee is a frequent speaker at the HMG Strategy CIO Summits around the country.     Dr. Ashwin Ballal has been Chief Information Officer at Medallia since 2016. Previously, Dr. Ballal was Vice President and Chief Information Officer for KLA-Tencor from 2009-2016, President and Managing Director for KLA-Tencor India from 2007-2009 and General Manager for the Macro Inspection division for KLA-Tencor in Milipitas, CA from 2005-2007.

    He began at KLA-Tencor in 2000 and has held various executive and senior level positions, including those in marketing, engineering, program and operations management. During his tenure with the company, he also was General Manager for the Macro Inspection Product Division with full P&L responsibilities.

    Before joining KLA-Tencor, Dr. Ballal held various senior management positions at Electroglas Inc., Keithley Instruments and Noran Instruments. He earned his doctorate and post doctorate degrees in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park and his bachelor's degree in Metallurgy from the National Institute of Technology in India. Dr Ballal lives in San Jose, CA with his wife Sandhya, daughter Shyna, and son Shawnuk. He is an avid sports enthusiast and loves to travel to exotic locations around the world with his family.

    Over the past 25 years Saeed provided transformative leadership for industry-leading companies including Oracle, Ericsson, and the Ooredoo Group. Led efforts to apply innovative and complex technologies to generate business value and to improve IT organizations, align IT and business goals, translate business strategies into IT solutions, and facilitate enterprise growth.

    Saeed worked on groundbreaking innovations to include the first successful mapping of the human genome at Celera Genomics, delivered complex CRM projects with real time charging and billing for three telecom providers. Saeed moved organizations from legacy on premise solutions and architecture into the cloud with Office 365, deployed legacy applications into Azure, and AWS, delivered innovative mobile Finapp using Google cloud and tools. He created new revenue streams, and delivered mobile, big data, social media, and piloted with a blockchain and AI solutions.

    Prior to Christie’s, Richard held various technology leadership roles at prominent global brands including Disney/ABC TV Group, Time Warner Inc., The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Viacom, and Tiffany & Company. Richard also served as CIO at a major global law firm and several healthcare companies with documented success aligning technology investment to strategic business objectives. He has significant experience managing all areas of traditional IT as well as Digital Media, Online/Digital Marketing, Internet/eCommerce, Multi-Channel Retail, Broadcasting, Telecommunications, Data & Analytics, Physical & Data Security, Audio Visual, and Venue Management.

    Patty Hatter has more than 20 years of experience leading operations and technology organizations at several Fortune 500 companies. Patty is a strategic adviser, working on product and go-to-market strategies for technology startups ranging from cybersecurity to IT service management to blockchain applications. From 2015 to 2017, Patty was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Services for Intel/McAfee, where she spearheaded the transformation of McAfee's support for enterprise customers. From 2015 to 2016, she was General Manager of Security and Software IT and Chief Information Officer at Intel Security Group, and from 2010 to 2015, she served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Chief Information Officer at McAfee, Inc. Prior to her employment with McAfee, Patty held executive positions with Cisco and AT&T.

    Patty was chosen by the National Diversity Council as a "Most Powerful and Influential Woman" in 2015, and was named both "Women of Influence" and "Power Executive" by Silicon Valley Business Journal in 2016. Patty earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

    John Repko is vice president & chief information officer of Johnson Controls.

    Prior to the merger of Johnson Controls and Tyco in September 2016, Repko served as senior vice president, chief information officer & enterprise transformation leader at Tyco. In that role, he was responsible for all of Tyco’s Information Technology strategy, systems and services and led Tyco’s overall Transformation, Global Shared Services and Process Excellence programs.

    Repko also served as executive sponsor of Tyco Cares – the philanthropic and volunteerism arm of Tyco’s Corporate Citizenship program.

    Prior to joining Tyco in 2012, he was the senior vice president & CIO of Covance, one of the world’s largest drug development services companies. Previously, he was senior vice president, CIO & eBusiness leader for GE Americom, a global satellite operator and a division of GE Capital. Repko also spent more than 14 years in senior information technology, eBusiness, finance, and Six Sigma leadership roles with GE. Earlier in his career, he was a senior auditor and CPA with Ernst & Young.

    He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University and an MBA in IT Systems from Drexel University.

    He has served as the Senior Technology Adviser to the world’s largest philanthropy for more than three years, assisting in strategy and execution of complex data, technology integration, IP and multi-party program management initiatives that help to improve student outcomes.

These assignments include definition of strategic outcomes, process and technology architecting, process scaling assessments and implementations and managing significant cultural and organizational leadership change tied to multi-channel strategies.

    John Rossman served as the interim CIO for a large rental business retailer and helped implement multiple cost reduction and service improvement programs.

    Before joining A&M, Mr. Rossman was Director of Enterprise Services at Amazon.com, managing worldwide services to enterprise clients such as Target.com, Toys R Us, Sears.ca, Marks and Spencer and the National Basketball Association (NBA). In this role, he had full operational and technical ownership for existing clients, overseeing e-commerce solutions such as online merchandising capability, website technologies, branded fulfillment delivery and branded customer service.

    As Director of Merchant Integration at Amazon.com, he was responsible for developing the Merchants @ program, one of the largest B2B networks with thousands of sellers, offering products in new categories such as apparel, sporting goods, consumer electronics, health and beauty and home.

    Previously, he was a partner with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.

    Mr. Rossman earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Oregon State University.
