Our International Advisory Board is comprised of technology leaders who have global oversight of technology and business strategy at Fortune 2000 organizations. HMG Strategy Executive Leadership Summits have become the most highly-regarded thought leadership events for C-level executives and technology executives.

 

Held in more than 30 locations annually, the content for each unique summit is created through the combined efforts with our regional Advisory Boards. Advisory Board members are invited and encouraged to participate on boards beyond their local region and become a member of our International Advisory Board of global executive leaders.

Global CIO - Christie's


Richard Entrup is the Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Christie’s with responsibility for the global strategic vision and leadership of Christie’s Information Technology and IT transformation initiatives.  Founded in 1766 by James Christie, Christie's has since conducted the greatest and most celebrated auctions through the centuries providing a popular showcase for the unique and the beautiful. Christie’s offers over 450 auctions annually in over 80 categories, including all areas of fine and decorative arts, jewelry, photographs, collectibles, wine, and more. Christie’s has a global presence with 53 offices in 32 countries and 12 salerooms around the world including in London, Shanghai, New York, Mumbai, Paris, Geneva, Milan, Amsterdam, Dubai, Zürich, and Hong Kong.

Prior to Christie’s, Richard held various technology leadership roles at prominent global brands including Disney/ABC TV Group, Time Warner Inc., The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Viacom, and Tiffany & Company. Richard also served as CIO at a major global law firm and several healthcare companies with documented success aligning technology investment to strategic business objectives. He has significant experience managing all areas of traditional IT as well as Digital Media, Online/Digital Marketing, Internet/eCommerce, Multi-Channel Retail, Broadcasting, Telecommunications, Data & Analytics, Physical & Data Security, Audio Visual, and Venue Management.

A passionate advocate of continuing education, mentoring, and paying it forward, Richard is an active mentor to students enrolled in the Executive Master of Science in Technology Management Program at Columbia University and a Taproot Foundation Pro Bono Advisor to non-profits via the Disney VoluntEARS program. He is also an Advisory Board Member at HMG Strategy and CIO Perspectives and a frequent speaker and panelist at HMG Strategy, CDM Media, CIO Perspectives, and Landmark Ventures technology summits. Richard has also been a guest speaker and lecturer at Fordham Business School, Ohio University, Women in Technology International (WITI), and the Levin Institute.
