Richard Entrup is the Global Chief Information Officer at Christie’s with responsibility for the global strategic vision and leadership of Christie’s Information Technology, Cybersecurity and Digital transformation initiatives.
Prior to Christie’s, Richard held various technology leadership roles at prominent global brands including Disney/ABC TV Group, Time Warner Inc., The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Viacom, and Tiffany & Company. Richard also served as CIO at a major global law firm and several healthcare companies with documented success aligning technology investment to strategic business objectives. He has significant experience managing all areas of traditional IT as well as Digital Media, Online/Digital Marketing, Internet/eCommerce, Multi-Channel Retail, Broadcasting, Telecommunications, Data & Analytics, Physical & Data Security, Audio Visual, and Venue Management.
A passionate advocate of continuing education, mentoring, and paying it forward, Richard is an active mentor to students enrolled in the Executive Master of Science in Technology Management Program at Columbia University and a Taproot Foundation Pro Bono Advisor to non-profits via the Disney VoluntEARS program. He is also an Advisory Board Member at HMG Strategy and CIO Perspectives and a frequent speaker and panelist at HMG Strategy, CDM Media, CIO Perspectives, and Landmark Ventures technology summits. Richard has also been a guest speaker and lecturer at Fordham Business School, Ohio University, Women in Technology International (WITI), and the Levin Institute.
