As Chief Information Security Officer of the Campbell Soup Company, Chet Davis has worldwide responsibility for the company’s IT Security program. This includes the development and implementation of IT security policies, standards, and architecture. In addition, Chet has worldwide responsibility for IT Controls and Risk Management programs. Chet joined the Campbell Soup Company in 1998 as Manager of the IT Audit function with Corporate Audit. After three years in this role he became Director of Information Security and Controls in 2001. In 2008 Chet was promoted to Chief Information Security Officer.
Chet has more than 15 years of IT security management experience and over 15 years in Audit and Control experience in a variety of industries including insurance and financial services. Before joining Campbell, he was Manager of IT Audit for Commonwealth Land/Title Insurance Company.
Chet is an active participant in several professional security organizations; has held board positions in many security industry groups and participates in several security industry councils and roundtables as both a panelist and speaker.
Chet holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Rider University.
