Damon B. Stephens is the Director of Information Technology for Kitchell Corporation. In this capacity, he oversees the corporate services organization of technology with more than 2,500 internal employees and external customers combined. He also provides oversight for the company’s Technology and Innovation Steering Committee. With a mix of technology and construction experience, Damon has led the transformation of Kitchell’s information technology services by partnering with the executive management team, business stakeholders, partners, and clients. The introduction of revenue generating client hosting and professional services engagements, public and private cloud services, 3D through 7D Building Information Modeling, mobile technologies, social media, unified communications, TECHTalks, and a Technology Innovations Lab has been well received by both Kitchell and clients. Prior to Kitchell, Damon served at Pulte Homes, implementing a 5-year, $100 million project building a custom homebuilder suite of applications using Microsoft .NET technology, a project recognized by CIO Magazine’s CIO 100 award. He also provided professional consulting services at Novell, Inc. and software development services at WordPerfect Corporation. Through his career, Damon has been engaged in the active leadership of software
development, innovative research, and professional and construction services. He has participated or served as a member of a number of governing bodies or executive boards including Construction Information Executives, Construction Financial Management Association, American Contractors Insurance Group, Phoenix CIO Summit, Quest International, Meridian User Group, and local partner engagements.
