Marianne Bachynski was formerly the Chief Operating Officer of North America Wholesale at Rabobank. Previously, Marianne was Managing Director at Citigroup, where she was the Americas Head of Technology for the Securities Funds Services unit of Citi’s Global Transaction Services businesses. While at Citi, she turned around a legacy system conversion project, executed initiatives that created a competitive market advantage and ensured regulatory compliance, and supported an upgrade of global talent.
Prior to Citi, Marianne spent 23 years in Information Technology at Morgan Stanley, supporting buy-side and sell-side businesses. Most recently, she was the Chief Information Officer for Morgan Stanley Investment Management, covering front to back functions globally. Marianne built Investment Management’s technology organization and scalable global technology platform from the ground up, recruiting and managing talent across 12 locations and five countries. She led the integration of five asset management firms onto one global platform, resulting in a single Investment, Operations, and Sales & Marketing platform for Institutional, Retail, Intermediary, Alternatives, Real Estate, and Private Equity clients. Prior to Investment Management, Marianne supported Institutional Equities, Investment Banking, Private Wealth Management, and various back office business units on the sell side of Morgan Stanley.
Marianne received a BA in Biology and Economics from Queens’ University, Kingston, Ontario Canada. She sat on the board of trustees for the Morgan Stanley Foundation from 2003 – 2008.
