Nate Haines co-leads Russell Reynolds’ office in Minneapolis/St. Paul and has experience recruiting for Board, CEO, and other senior leadership positions across a variety of industries. He has led recruitments for CIO, CTO and other senior technology positions, such as digital and data analytics leaders, for both public and private companies ranging from the Fortune 100 to Private Equity backed start-ups. He has also worked on senior recruitments for several leading management consulting firms.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds, Nate spent 15 years as a management consultant. Nate started his career at Arthur Andersen before joining Huron Consulting Group as one of its founding employees. While there, Nate held multiple roles with increasing responsibility. Most recently, as managing director (partner), Nate served as a leader for his business unit’s cultural advisory and performance review committees. Nate was also a facilitator for his business unit’s development program for high-potential employees on the cusp of promotion to managing director.
At Huron, Nate’s business unit acquired a software company. He contributed to the integration of this acquisition and, as one of the senior leaders of his business unit, helped to grow its revenue by 200% over a period of approximately 5 years. As a consultant, Nate has had significant roles on more than 20 technology implementations including both vendor and custom solutions.
Nate has presented at dozens of industry conferences and has written articles which have appeared in publications such as the Harvard Business Review.
Nate received a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Iowa where he was a Hancher-Finkbine nominee. He received an M.B.A. (with honors) from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
