Patricia Watters serves as managing partner in DHR’s Detroit office and global leader of DHR’s Automotive and Future Mobility Practice Group.
Patricia brings over 20 years of unique and diverse leadership in automotive manufacturing and manufacturing consulting to the executive search community.
Prior to joining DHR, Patricia spent six years as a vice president of Harbour Consulting. At Harbour, she led engagements in research, manufacturing strategy and operations improvement for automotive as well as many non-automotive clients. At Harbour, Patricia was a principal contributor to the leading industry publications - The Harbour Reports, which analyze and rank assembly, stamping and powertrain plants in productivity and lean manufacturing performance. Patricia analyzed dozens of automotive manufacturing plants in US, Mexico and Europe.
Patricia’s manufacturing and operations experience began at General Motors Corporation with 13 years of factory floor operations experience in production, quality, and manufacturing engineering. Subsequently, as Superintendent of Industrial Engineering, she led teams of engineers in broad scale cost reduction, productivity improvement, lean implementation and new model introduction in vehicle assembly plants.
Patricia offers her clients unique understanding gained from industry experience and key insights from the best practices of a broad range of companies. Patricia also brings the critical focus of successfully matching executive candidates with diverse company cultures.
Patricia holds a BA from Kalamazoo College with a major in Economics and a minor in International Business and an MA in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University.
