Palo Alto CIO summitI'm still feeling exhilarated and energized by our record-breaking Palo Alto CIO Executive Leadership Summit last week in Silicon Valley.

Now is such a great time to be a technology leader - maybe the best time ever! The Silicon Valley summit, which has become an annual event, truly captured the amazing spirit, enthusiasm, optimism, vision and extraordinary intelligence we've come to expect from our network of executive leaders.

The topics and areas we covered ranged far and wide, from machine learning and robotics to recruiting top talent and accelerating innovation. The conversations and discussions hit all the right notes, highlighting challenges at every level of the modern enterprise and diving into the best solutions and most courageous strategies.

I was especially delighted by the deep insight and unparalleled experience shared during on-stage executive interviews with Ramón Baez, SVP, Customer Evangelist, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Kathy McElligott, EVP, CIO & CTO, McKesson Corporation.

From my perspective, Ramón and Kathy both represent "the best of the best" executive leadership qualities necessary for genuine success in today's complex and rapidly evolving markets.
