    Marco runs our Global Services team responsible for the enablement of our customers and partners. He has over 30 years of information management consulting experience. During his career, he has led and managed all aspects of a commercial consulting practice mostly within leading software companies. He is an inspirational leader, a visionary, and an operational executive. Marco has formulated overall services strategies, go to market strategies, led large consulting practices including services sales, delivery execution, and operational functions. He has also had primary responsibility for external communications to the analyst community and led overall partner relationship programs with Global SIs. Marco started his career at Andersen Consulting, then moved to Oracle Consulting, worked in several start-up firms, Siebel Systems, SAP Consulting and then returned to Oracle Consulting before jointing Delphix to start and build our Services practice.

  • Kory Avaiusini
    CEO & Co-Founder
    WideNet Consulting Group

    Kory Avaiusini is the CEO and Co-Founder of WideNet, responsible for leading the Sales, Marketing, Client Relations Executive Search and Community Outreach functions. Kory, also a member of the Jobs for Washington's Graduates Board of Directors, has over two decades of experience working in the Puget Sound area within the Technology Consulting and Staffing/Recruiting space.

    He started his career in the mid-90’s working for one of the largest staffing firms in the world, Technical Aid Corporation where he was a Regional Account Manager. He led the development and management of such major accounts like Digital Equipment Corporation/Compaq, Attachmate, Amazon, Starbucks, Vulcan and Corbis. After TAC, Kory was hired by one of his clients, Bill Gates' privately owned Corbis. In this role, Kory led all global recruiting efforts during the company’s major growth and acquisition phase. He later became Director of HR & Recruiting, North America and APAC. Kory was also part of Corbis' Leadership NOW program, identifying the top future leaders of the company. Mr. Avaiusini eventually left Corbis to start his own technology staffing and recruiting company that he grew to become one of the fastest growing companies in the area. He later sold his ownership stake to other business partners.

    Mr. Avaiusini has also worked and consulted in leadership roles at Weyerhaeuser Corporation, T-Mobile and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. His experience working internally at mature, enterprise, global clients along with his years of working in professional services puts him in a unique spot when assisting clients and customers.

    Kory is local to the Seattle area, having grown up in Normandy Park, WA. He attended Central Washington University where he received a B.S. in Marketing. Kory resides in Browns Point, WA with his wife Amy and their two daughters, Allison and Olivia. When he is not working, you can usually find him at his kids' soccer games, playing soccer himself or camping and hanging out with family and friends.

  • Curtis Barker
    Principal Product Manager

    Curtis Barker is a Principal Product Manager at Symantec. He has spent the past 8 years in living and working in Singapore where he began his role at Symantec three years ago and has recently relocated to Mountain View, California.

    He has a strong technical and business background and holds a Masters Degree in Electronic Communications Engineering with Business Mgt from the University of Sussex, UK.

    Curtis has spent his career in telecommunications and security. His previous roles include leading Symantec’s mobile product portfolio in APJ and more recently, covering a broader set of Symantec’s offerings as a Product Management leader in Asia Pacific. Curtis brings experience from different roles in EMEA and APJ, including engineering, sales and product management.

  • Mark Egan

    Mark Egan is a partner at StrataFusion Group, Inc. and has more than 25 years of information technology experience, with expertise in IT transformation, information security, and mergers & acquisitions. His extensive experience includes managing global IT organizations with over 1,200 employees, budgets in excess of $350 million, and IT integration for over 60 mergers and acquisitions. Mark has been repeatedly recognized for his leadership and success in scaling IT organizations to support rapid growth companies.

    Prior to joining StrataFusion, Mark was a CIO at VMware where he led the company from a server virtualization vendor with $2 billion in revenue to a $5 billion market leader of cloud solutions. During his 6 years as CIO at Symantec, Mark’s leadership in IT was instrumental in supporting the company’s transformation from $600 million consumer software publisher to a $5 billion market leader of enterprise security solutions. He held senior level positions with companies in a variety of industries, including Sun Microsystems, Price Waterhouse, and Wells Fargo Bank.

    Mark holds a master’s degree in finance and international business from University of San Diego and a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences from University of Clarion. Mark developed and taught a graduate class, “Building Business Value through IT Innovation”, at the Haas School of Business at University of California at Berkeley.

    As Greylock’s former COO, Tom led the operations team, including marketing, executive and core talent, and customer development efforts.

    Prior to Greylock, Tom co-founded and served as CEO of two venture backed start-ups. Most recently, he was CEO of Simply Continuous, a small-enterprise focused service provider in the large scale data back-up and virtual server recovery business, backed by Greylock Partners that was sold to NetEnrich in 2010. Before that, he was co-founder and CEO of Telephia. Telephia provided syndicated marketing and network quality information to the wireless industry. Telephia was sold to Nielsen in 2007 for $440 million.  Earlier, Tom was SVP and General Manager for Mindscape’s Entertainment division, before its sale to Learning Company, and a consultant with McKinsey & Co. in their Palo Alto, New York, and Milan offices.Tom was on the board of directors for Superscape before its sale to Glu Mobile in 2008.

    Tom holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, where he also played soccer.

    Jim's recruiting background consists of 25 years of nationwide, executive level placements. His clients range from Fortune 25 to high-profile, venture-backed start-up companies. Jim’s industry expertise has been sought after and published by the WSJ to the Seattle Times. 

    Prior to co-founding Herd Freed Hartz in 2001, Jim worked at RealNetworks (RNWK) and was responsible for executive level hiring. He is also the co-founder of the RealNetworks Alumni Organization. Before RealNetworks, Jim worked as a Senior Associate for a retained search firm focusing on national searches. Jim began his recruiting career working for a regional search firm specializing in Northwest based high-tech companies where he lead its Executive Search division. He is also a member of the Seattle Vistage CEO group.

    Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Western Washington University.

  • John Iannarelli
    Former FBI Special Agent and Senior Executive Advisor

    John G. Iannarelli recently retired from the FBI after more than 20 years of service, during which he was a member of the SWAT Team and participated in the investigations of the Oklahoma City Bombing, the 9/11 attack, and the Congresswoman Gabriel Giffords shooting.  John previously served at FBI Headquarters as their national spokesperson and on the Cyber Division Executive staff.  In Phoenix, John was the Cyber squad supervisor before promotion to Assistant Special Agent in Charge, the number two position overseeing all Criminal, Cyber, and Counter Intelligence investigations throughout Arizona.  John has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Computer Science for his contributions to the field of cyber investigations.

    John is the author of several other books, to include Why Teens Fail and What to Fix, a parents’ guide to protecting their children from Internet predators and other dangers, and Information Governance Security, how businesses can protect their sensitive data from loss or compromise.  His recently released How to Stop A Terrorist, is a guide for the average person to recognize and help prevent terrorism. John is a highly sought after speaker and has presented to Fortune 500 companies, domestic and international audiences, the United Nations, and the Vatican where he met personally with Pope Francis to discuss the evolution of cyber crime.

    A former San Diego Police Officer and a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law, to include studies of international criminal and civil law at Oxford, England, John is also an attorney admitted to the practice of law in California, Maryland and the District of Columbia. He is currently a private consultant, whose clients have included the both the FBI and a national professional sports league.

  • Andreas Kaltounis
    Vice President
    Stroz Friedberg, LLC

    Mr. Kaltsounis is a Vice President of Stroz Friedberg, a global risk-management firm built to help clients solve the complex challenges prevalent in today’s digital, connected, and regulated business world. He heads the firm’s Seattle office and draws upon his 17 years of investigative experience as a state and federal law enforcement officer, his expertise in computer forensics and technology, and his legal experience to advise clients and manage engagements involving major data breaches and cybercrimes, network and data security, internal investigations, and digital forensics.

    Prior to joining Stroz Friedberg, Mr. Kaltsounis investigated network intrusions and cybercrimes as a special agent with the Department of Defense Inspector General’s National Cyber Field Office and as a member of the Seattle FBI Cyber Task Force. Earlier in his career, he investigated violent crimes, white-collar fraud, and violations of the federal False Claims Act, and also served on a federal identity-theft working group targeting organized crime rings, phishing, credit-card skimming, and malicious insiders.

    Mr. Kaltsounis is a licensed attorney; certified computer-forensics examiner, penetration tester, and critical controls specialist; an Advisory Board Member of the SANS Institute; and credentialed as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional. Mr. Kaltsounis received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Washington and his Masters in Policy Management from Georgetown University, where his research focused on oversight of the nation’s intelligence gathering activities.

  • Gerri Martin-Flickinger

    Gerri Martin-Flickinger is Starbucks Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. She is responsible for technology strategies and teams that enable the company to connect with customers worldwide.

    Gerri joined Starbucks in 2015, and has led the technology organization through significant transformation while developing and enabling industry-leading innovations including mobile order and pay, voice ordering and social gifting. Under her leadership, Starbucks Technology is focused on delivering innovative, cloud-based and digital solutions that empower partners and delight customers globally.

    Prior to Starbucks, Gerri served as Chief Information Officer at Adobe, where she played a key role enabling Adobe’s transformation to a cloud-based business. Before Adobe, she was CIO at VeriSign, Network Associates, Inc., and McAfee Associates, Inc. She began her career at Chevron Corporation, where she held several senior systems roles.

    Gerri holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Washington State University. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of Arizona State University’s Fulton School of Engineering and on the Board of Directors of Tableau Software.

  • Mark Neuhausen

    Hewlett Packard Enterprise

    Mark Neuhausen is an account chief technologist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.  He has over 30 years as an entrepreneur successfully launching new products and services for small-to-large companies. His career in telecommunications, networking and IT includes the first feasibility demonstrations of voice over IP over cable, early Interactive TV deployments, PMO and architecture lead for the world’s largest cable voice deployment, defining and launching new services at Cisco Systems, running Amazon’s corporate IT operations team, and now at HPE.  

    Mark’s first career was in defense electronics where he rose from systems engineer to VP at Raytheon running a $200+M business. Accomplishments included the introduction of networking into computers with participation with the Ethernet standards committee, development of the first dual-sided multi-chip module, and contracts around the first two boxes placed in NSA’s museum at Ft. Meade.

    Mark has an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a joint Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Physics from MIT. He is also currently an active angel investor in the Pacific Northwest and a blogger for HPE.

As chief digital officer, Todd Pierce shapes and leads the integrated strategy for technology and digital platforms in service of the foundation’s mission.

    Prior to joining the foundation, Todd was the senior vice president of the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry at where he led the strategy and cross-functional execution of the company's products, solutions and partnerships for the industry. He joined in 2011 as the executive vice president of operations and transformation with overall responsibility for IT, real estate, security and trust. Before joining, he spent more than 20 years in the healthcare industry including 10 years as the chief information officer at Genentech where he led the company’s move to cloud and mobile technologies and later, as the global head of Pharma IT and Group Infrastructure for Roche. He has held several leadership positions in the public sector including the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the County of Santa Clara as chief information officer.

    Todd has a personal commitment to developing talent and building strong morale and culture in his organizations. He received a master’s degree in health policy from UC Berkeley and his undergraduate from Austin College. He currently serves on the board of directors for Dignity Health, the nation’s fifth largest nonprofit hospital system and is a passionate advocate for the LGBTQ community.

    John Rossman is Managing Partner, Rossman Partners. With more than 28 years of technology strategy, design, implementation and operating experience, Mr. Rossman has led several complex businesses and programs resulting in innovative business models. He has worked with clients across a broad range of industries including retail, insurance, education, forest products, industrial products and transportation.

    John Rossman is the author of The Amazon Way: 14 Leadership Principles of the World’s Most Disruptive Company and is an expert on digital disruption and assisting his clients to build and execute new business models.

    He has served as the Senior Technology Adviser to the world’s largest philanthropy for more than three years, assisting in strategy and execution of complex data, technology integration, IP and multi-party program management initiatives that help to improve student outcomes.

    He has also assisted multiple retail and service companies with their multi-channel strategies and execution. These assignments include definition of strategic outcomes, process and technology architecting, process scaling assessments and implementations and managing significant cultural and organizational leadership change tied to multi-channel strategies.

    John Rossman served as the interim CIO for a large rental business retailer and helped implement multiple cost reduction and service improvement programs.

    Before joining A&M, Mr. Rossman was Director of Enterprise Services at, managing worldwide services to enterprise clients such as, Toys R Us,, Marks and Spencer and the National Basketball Association (NBA). In this role, he had full operational and technical ownership for existing clients, overseeing e-commerce solutions such as online merchandising capability, website technologies, branded fulfillment delivery and branded customer service.

    As Director of Merchant Integration at, he was responsible for developing the Merchants @ program, one of the largest B2B networks with thousands of sellers, offering products in new categories such as apparel, sporting goods, consumer electronics, health and beauty and home.

    Previously, he was a partner with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.

    Mr. Rossman earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Oregon State University.

  • Suyash Sinha
    Midfin Systems

    Suyash Sinha is the CEO and Co-Founder of Midfin Systems. Midfin Systems is disrupting traditional IT infrastructure with its unique software-defined fabric technology that is inspired by how the largest data centers on the planet are operated. He firmly believes that while enterprise data centers are much smaller than Amazon, Google or Microsoft cloud properties - there is no reason they should be operated with one-third the efficiency of the mega datacenters.

    Suyash has 16 years of experience leading the development of highly scalable and mission-critical distributed operating environments. At Microsoft, where he spent 13 years of his career, Suyash led the development of Windows hypervisor, operating system kernel, large-scale real-time monitoring systems for cloud properties and a distributed programming environment for real-time multiplayer gaming that is currently used by flagship game called Halo. Before Microsoft, Suyash worked in couple of high-speed switching startups developing software protocol stacks for transit switches and routers.

    Suyash earned his MBA from Foster School of Business, University of Washington and his BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur in India.

  • Patrick Steele
    Chair, CIO Advisory Board
    Blumberg Capital

    Patrick Steele retired at the end of 2014 as the Executive Vice President and CIO for Delta Dental of California and a member of the Senior Executive Management Team. Delta Dental is a $9 billion enterprise and one of the largest dental benefit administrators in the nation.

    Mr. Steele currently chairs a CIO Advisory Board for Blumberg Capital, an early stage venture firm, and is active in the evaluation of new companies for the firm to invest in.

    Mr. Steele has 47 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, corporate retail, wholesale, supply chain, merchandising, information technology (IT), profit & loss, and worldwide retail exchange functions.

    Prior to joining Delta Dental, he was involved in consulting and business development, and was active in establishing several technology companies that serve the retail sector.

    As a former member of the executive management team for a $37 billion retailer, Mr. Steele led numerous strategic projects, inclusive of both large and small mergers and acquisitions.

    Mr. Steele sits on the Advisory Board for a Venture Capital firm and is active in the evaluation of new companies for the firm to invest in.

    Mr. Steele is also a Board Member of Dignity Health, a large multi-state healthcare delivery company based in San Francisco.

    Mr. Steele holds a BA in Business Administration and a BS in Mathematics, both from the University in Washington.

    He has been active in numerous civic organizations.

    Chris Van Liew is the Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer for Seattle University. A Pacific Northwest native, Chris graduated from Oregon State University, and previously served as the Chief Information Officer for Weyerhaeuser, after more than two decades of varied technology roles for the company. Chris has a passion for growing people and building teams to deliver uncompromising results. In addition to leading technology at Seattle University, Chris is a member of the President’s Cabinet, enjoys guest lecturing in the various degree programs, and also serves on board committees for a local health system.

  • Tim Wallach
    Supervisory Special Agent
    FBI Seattle Division

    Timothy Wallach is an FBI Supervisory Special Agent who leads the Cyber Task Force in the Seattle Field Office of the FBI. In this capacity he manages and oversees the FBI’s Cyber Crime program in the State of Washington. In addition to his responsibilities of leading the Cyber Task Force, in 2014 Mr. Wallach was one of the principal architects of the FBI’s Cyber-National Security investigative model and served as its national Program Manager. Prior to his assignment in Seattle, Mr. Wallach was the FBI’s Legal Attaché in The Hague where he was responsible for all FBI matters in the Netherlands.

    Mr. Wallach has been an FBI Special Agent since 1996 and has held previous assignments in the San Diego and Washington, DC Field Offices, the FBI Legal Attaché Office in Switzerland and FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC.

    Mr. Wallach holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

  • Greg Wooldridge
    Former Commanding Officer - Blue Angels
    John Foley Inc.

    Greg “Boss” Wooldridge is the only commanding officer to lead The Blue Angels for three separate tours. He was first selected because of his demonstrated ability to build teams where communication, trust and teamwork took precedence over rank and status. His heart-driven approach proved a perfect match for the Blue Angel’s culture of excellence, and he was called back to lead 2 more teams through times of difficult transition. Since his success with the Blues, Greg has been inspired to share his methods in order to empower individuals and teams on their journey toward High Performance. From the very start of his career in the Navy, Greg was immersed in the building of great teams. In flight candidate school he learned from the camaraderie of his class, an emotion that elevated individuals by first elevating the performance of the team. Later, acting as a commander of a carrier squadron, Greg discovered that teams which drive toward something greater than themselves unlock an ability to perform at extreme levels. And finally, when he was selected as the commanding officer of the Blue Angels, The Navy’s—and the world’s—premiere flight demonstration squadron, Greg Wooldridge experienced what it was like to take one’s dreams and beliefs on an upward spiral, into the beyond.
