Geoff Aranoff joined Western Digital in February, 2016 as the Vice President, Information Security. In this role Mr. Aranoff is the head of information security and is responsible for developing and implementing the enterprise security strategy that protects the electronic assets and the supporting infrastructure that includes the manufacturing and engineering systems, corporate systems, and intellectual property. His organization continually evaluates the ongoing internal and external risks to Western Digital and adopts long and short-term strategies to mitigate risks and threats within an appropriate budget. Mr. Aranoff leads the organization responsible for adopting and enforcing policies for internal and external risk management, IT security including network, application, endpoint, and storage security.
Mr. Aranoff was previously the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Broadcom Corporation where he initiated and built the information security program. Mr. Aranoff developed enterprise security strategies that provided the necessary monitoring and controls for Broadcom’s intellectual property (IP), as well as facilitated electronic discovery for litigations and electronic forensics for internal and external inquiries and investigations. Mr. Aranoff also served 6 years in the United State Marine Corp Reserves and was activated for Desert Storm in 1990.
Todd Barnum is the Chief Information Security Officer for GoPro in San Mateo California. In this role, he leads the information security team, and helps GoPro secure its critical information assets.
Prior to GoPro, Todd spent time at two consulting firms, KPMG LLP, and Forrester Research. In both positions Todd led Information Security Consulting Practices.
Prior to these consultant gigs, Todd was the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Warner Bros Entertainment in Burbank California. At the same time Todd also had the pleasure of serving Warner Bros as the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture, and was responsible for architecting and securing the transition from and entirely insourced IT model to one that was entirely outsourced and off-shored.
Prior to Warner Bros, Todd spent 8 years at AMGEN, headquartered in Los Angeles where he served as Corporate Director and Chief Information Security Officer.
Early in his career, Todd learned the details of information security as a Naval Officer managing some of the Navy’s largest telecommunication systems. Bill Schlough currently serves as Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer of the San Francisco Giants and Chairman of the Board of the San Jose Giants.
Since Schlough's arrival in 1999, the Giants have been recognized as one of the most innovative teams in sports, playing a pioneering role in the world of HD video, mobile content, ticketing and payment systems. Wireless connectivity has been a primary focus since 2004 when AT&T Park became the first sports facility to provide free Wi-Fi to all fans. Schlough’s IT team has also implemented numerous proprietary analytic tools that helped secure three World Series titles so far this decade.
An Olympic enthusiast, Schlough is a board member of the Bay Area Sports Organizing Committee (BASOC) and served on the committees for San Francisco’s bids to host the 2012, 2016 and 2024 Olympic Games. His event experience includes assignments at the 1994 World Cup along with Olympics in Atlanta, Salt Lake and Torino, Italy. Previously, he worked as a consultant with Booz-Allen & Hamilton and Electronic Data Systems. More recently, Schlough served as Interim President of the Giants’ Class A San Jose affiliate and was appointed to the team’s board as chairman in 2012.
