  • Todd Barnum
    GoPro Inc.

    Todd Barnum is the Chief Information Security Officer for GoPro in San Mateo California.  In this role, he leads the information security team, and helps GoPro secure its critical information assets.

    Prior to GoPro, Todd spent time at two consulting firms, KPMG LLP, and Forrester Research.  In both positions Todd led Information Security Consulting Practices.   

    Prior to these consultant gigs, Todd was the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Warner Bros Entertainment in Burbank California.  At the same time Todd also had the pleasure of serving Warner Bros as the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture, and was responsible for architecting and securing the transition from and entirely insourced IT model to one that was entirely outsourced and off-shored. 

    Prior to Warner Bros, Todd spent 8 years at AMGEN, headquartered in Los Angeles where he served as Corporate Director and Chief Information Security Officer. 

    Early in his career, Todd learned the details of information security as a Naval Officer managing some of the Navy’s largest telecommunication systems.  Todd got his Masters in Telecommunications from the United States Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey California, and his Bachelors from the University of Hawaii. 

    Todd is also an Adjunct Professor at California Luther University where he’s taught computer science courses since 2001.  Todd also served as a Board member of the Ventura County YMCA, and was a part Orange County’s Big Brother Big Sister Program.

  • Steve Booth
    VP & Chief Security Officer

    As the Chief Security Officer, Steven Booth is in charge of leading all aspects of IT security at FireEye.  This includes the ongoing development and execution of enterprise-wide security architecture and monitoring programs, as well as technology risk and compliance.  Steven directs the implementation of security controls, standards, policies and procedures to ensure continuous monitoring and protection of information systems and physical property while ensuring that compliance is maintained against both corporate security policies and industry standards.


    Prior to joining FireEye, Steven was the AVP of Information Security and CISO at Manulife/John Hancock in Boston, Massachusetts, where he had global responsibility for all IT security in the US, Canada, and 11 countries in Asia.  He previously held the role of Cybersecurity Architect at Microsoft, and ran security operations for VeriSign’s MSSP.  Steven has a B.S. in Business Management from CSUH, and a Master’s degree in Digital Security from Golden Gate University.

    Eddie Borrero is the chief information security officer for Robert Half, which specializes in the placement of professionals, has a global consulting firm (Protiviti) and has developed various managed services arms that provide technology and services augmentation offerings all of which are focused on helping our clients succeed. As a thought leader in the industry with over 15 years of information security management experience, Eddie is completely inspired by the challenge of helping companies through their digital transformations as well as helping them with their journey to the cloud by seamlessly integrating security into their DevOps processes  – which, fits nicely with his passion for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and developing people.


    Eddie joined Robert Half in 2015 and is responsible for the management of information security globally for the company. Previous to his current role, Eddie worked in governance, oversight, and management of enterprise information protection programs for Intuit, Amgen, Electronics Arts, and PG&E.

    Doug Busch currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Blue Shield of California. Doug has been a Director of Blue Shield of California since 2008, and has served as Chair of the Compensation Committee, and as a member of Audit, Finance, Quality and Governance committees. Doug served as  a Director and as Chairman of the Board of Hands4Hope, a youth organization, from 2008 to 2018. He also served on the Board of TechShop, LLC from 2010 to 2017, and as a member of the National Advisory Council of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing.

    Doug retired from Care Innovations, a joint venture of Intel and GE Healthcare in 2013, where he held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to the formation of Care Innovations, Doug held the position of Chief Technical Officer for Intel’s Digital Health Group. He served as Intel’s Chief Information Officer from 1999 to 2005, with responsibility for Intel’s global information systems. In prior roles at Intel Doug led enterprise architecture, information security, advanced technology research, and manufacturing automation groups.

    Al Ghous is the Sr Director of Cyber Security for GE Digital. In this capacity Al is responsible for GE Digital’s Cloud Platform and Product Cyber Security where he is focused on building secure and resilient Cloud for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) known as Predix – first of its kind. Al’s Cyber Security organization includes Product Security, Infrastructure and Platform Security, Identity and Access Management, Encryption, Product Assurance and Response Services. Al’s organization takes pride in their approach to secure software development practices while maintaining a state of preparedness to detect anomalous activities and take necessary action to protect Predix and GE’s Customers.

    Al has been in the Cyber Security industry for over 18 years contributing in different capacities from Risk Management to Solution Consulting and Security Architecture. Al is active in the Cyber Security industry and part of several consortiums. He has held leadership roles in organizations such as Ernst and Young, Oracle, Kaiser Permanente and Informatica to name a few.

    Before joining DocuSign, Emily Heath served as the CISO for United Airlines in Chicago for almost three years. Prior to that role, she was the CISO at AECOM in San Francisco, held various technology and strategy leadership roles at companies in southern California, and began her career as a fraud squad detective in the UK police force. Heath is also a Board Member for LogicGate, the National Technology Security Coalition, and the Security Advisors Alliance. She is also an Advisory Board Member for Cyberstarts Venture Capital Fund.

    Board Member

    Christine Heckart, Chief Executive Officer of Scalyr, is a veteran of the technology industry having worked for iconic companies including Microsoft, Juniper Networks, Cisco and NetApp. She has led business strategy for multibillion dollar businesses in critical roles including COO, GM, president, and CMO, and has experience across software, SaaS, hardware, and service business models. A member of the board of directors at Lam Research and 6sense, Heckart was named as one of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology by the National Diversity Council and a 2016 Woman of Influence by Silicon Valley Business Journal. Heckart graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

    Hitachi Vantara

    Jacquet is responsible for enterprise information security, establishing and maintaining a corporate-wide information security program to protect Hitachi Vantara’s information assets. He and his team identify, evaluate and report on information security risks to meet compliance and regulatory requirements. Jacquet also leads enterprise security programs including security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, identity management, network security, disaster recovery and risk policies. He supports client services for Hitachi Vantara’s Managed Services offering, including governance and compliance. In September 2017, Jacquet’s role expanded to include the security governance of Hitachi Vantara’s products and services. Previously, Jacquet was senior director of cloud security and compliance, and acting CISO for cloud infrastructure at Marketo where he built and led cross-functional teams to secure their software products. Before this, his roles included senior director of global IT Security, compliance, risk management and governance at Symantec, and multiple leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard during his 26-year tenure there. Jacquet holds a marketing certificate from UC Berkeley and an engineering degree in computer science from Institut National des Sciences Appliqués (Lyon, France). He is fluent in French and conversational in German. He holds a private pilot’s certificate and is an active member pilot of Angel Flight West, a volunteer organization.

    Some of Rand’s past roles include being the Cybersecurity Advisor to President Bush (2002-2007) and Y2K Advisor to President Clinton, member of the Board for the Chabot Space and Science Center, and member of the Advisory Board for the Institute of International Education (IIE).

  • Matthew Rosenquist
    CISO, Inc.

    Matthew Rosenquist joined Intel Corp in 1996 and benefits from 28 diverse years in the fields of cyber, physical, and information security. Mr. Rosenquist specializes in security strategy, measuring value, developing best-practices for cost effective capabilities, and establishing organizations which deliver optimal levels of cybersecurity. As a cybersecurity strategist for the Intel, he identifies risks and opportunities to build organizations that balance risks, costs, and usability factors across hardware, firmware, software, artificial intelligence, and services. Mr. Rosenquist is active in the industry and consults on best-practices and emerging risks to academic, business, and government audiences around the globe. Mr. Rosenquist built and managed Intel’s first global 24x7 Security Operations Center, oversaw several internal platform security products and services, deployed the enterprise intrusion detection program, and was Intel’s first Incident Commander for worldwide IT emergency responses. He has conducted investigations and risk assessments in defense of corporate assets and managed the security playbook for Intel security features landing in the PC architecture. Mr. Rosenquist ran security for Intel’s multi-billion dollar mergers and acquisitions activities and quantitatively justified the improvement strategy protecting Intel’s global manufacturing capability. His development of the Threat Agent Risk Assessment (TARA) methodology to optimize security, has influenced how organizations view and prioritize risks. Currently, he is leading cybersecurity for Intel’s Artificial Intelligence group, with a focus on how AI will transform security, privacy, and safety.   • Chris Young

    Chris Young (@youngdchris) is CEO of McAfee, LLC, the device-to-cloud cybersecurity company.  He works side by side with the industry’s best and brightest to protect all that matters through leading-edge cyber technologies.

    Mr. Young is a recognized and respected voice in cybersecurity. Global audiences are likewise energized and challenged to take action when he speaks on the cybersphere from any number of the world’s largest and most influential stages, including at Mobile World Congress, RSA, and Israel’s Cyber Week.

    Earlier in his career, Mr. Young led cybersecurity efforts at Cisco, RSA (a division of today’s Dell EMC), and AOL.  He also led end-user computing at VMware and cofounded the company, Cyveillance.

    Mr. Young currently serves on the Board of Directors of American Express and Snap Inc. He was formerly a board member of cybersecurity data analytics firm Rapid7 before its IPO and during its transition to a publicly held company. He also served on the Board of Trustees of Princeton University.

    Mr. Young holds an A.B. degree cum laude from Princeton University, and an M.B.A. degree with distinction from the Harvard Business School.
