    Roota Almeida is a dynamic senior IT Executive responsible for successful implementation of information security, risk and compliance systems and strategies across multiple industries with global operations.  Currently, she is the Head of Information Security at Delta Dental of NJ and CT, leading the development and implementation of enterprise-wide information security strategy, policies, risk assessments and controls.

    Prior to Delta Dental, Roota was the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Covanta Holdings Corp., a leader in Energy-from-Waste. As a CISO she led all aspects of Information security and risk, including global information security awareness programs, policies, business continuity and incident response teams.

    Roota has over 15 years of direct experience in establishing and maintaining global security strategies, architectures, standards, and compliance while driving the necessary cultural changes to affect measurable improvements in the organizations’ security posture.  Roota is a recognized thought leader in the industry and serves as a Co-Chair for Evanta’s NJ CxO Summits and Advisory Board Member for HMG’s CIO and CSO Summits. She is also a Governing Body Member for various other technology conferences. She is a frequent speaker at various conferences such as MIT’s CIO Symposium, HMG’s CIO Summit of America. Her in-depth experience and expertise in the field of Information Security and Risk Management can be measured by the various articles, eBooks, interviews and podcasts she has to her credit.

  • Edward Amoroso

    Dr. Edward G. Amoroso is Chief Executive Officer of TAG Cyber LLC, a global cyber security advisory, training, consulting, and media services company supporting hundreds of major organizations across the world. Ed recently retired from AT&T after thirty-one years of service, beginning in Unix security R&D at Bell Labs and culminating as Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer of AT&T from 2004 to 2016. He was elected an AT&T Fellow in 2010.

    Ed has been Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at the Stevens Institute of Technology for the past twenty-nine years, where he has introduced over three thousand graduate students to the topic of information security. He is also a Research Professor in the Computer Science Department at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, and a Senior Advisor at the Applied Physics Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University. He is author of six books on cyber security, and dozens of major research and technical papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.

    Ed holds the BS degree in Physics from Dickinson College, the MS/PhD degrees in Computer Science from the Stevens Institute of Technology, and is a graduate of the Columbia Business School. He holds ten patents in cyber security technology, and he served previously on the Board of Directors for M&T Bank and the NSA Advisory Board.

    Ed’s work has been highlighted on CNN, the New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal. He has worked directly with four Presidential administrations on issues related to national security, critical infrastructure protection, and cyber policy. He and his wife Lee live in New Jersey and are the proud parents of three wonderfully successful Millennials.

    Bill Brown was formerly Chief Information Officer & CISO at Veracode, a recognized Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader for Application Security.  He is responsible for making Information Security, Platform Operations, IT and Systems Engineering strategic assets in scaling Veracode’s SaaS platform. Bill has more than 25 years of management experience in Information Technology, Information Security, M&A Technology Integration, SaaS Operations, DevOps, Operations/Logistics and Compliance including FedRAMP, SOC2, SOC3.

    In 2010, Bill was recognized as a Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader, an award that recognizes outstanding technology professionals who have successfully aligned technology with overall business goals to advance their company’s critical IT initiatives.

    Prior to joining Veracode, Bill was CIO at Avid where he and his team provided operational support for Avid's cloud offerings as well as maintained the continued alignment of information systems and business strategies to ensure the highest level of operational effectiveness.  Before Avid, Bill was at Iron Mountain where he served in several senior leadership roles, including CIO, and he has more than 25 years of management experience in information technology, operations/logistics and electronic commerce.

    He was a co-founder and executive vice president of PCs Compleat, a PC retailer/distributor acquired by CompUSA and has also held senior management positions at PC Connection, Send.com, JWP/Businessland and Merisel.

    Bill holds a MBA from Babson College and a Bachelor's Degree in mathematics from Bridgewater State College.

    Kirsten brings a unique blend of global leadership, business acumen, cyber security practitioner experience, and technology background to her role.     Prior to her role with Barclays, Davies served in two capacities at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), both as Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and as Vice President for Enterprise Security Strategy, heading up one of four
    worldwide, strategic customer-facing areas for HPE.

    In her tenure with HPE, she achieved the first-ever Cyber Security Master Agreement with the German Workers Council, now replicated across HPE’s 20+ Works Councils in EMEA, led the strategic overhaul and reorganization of the Cyber Security
    Program, and broadened the capability of “Next Generation Security”, including Insider Risk and the IT/OT convergence.

    Prior to HPE, Kirsten served as the CISO for Global InfoSec Strategy and Governance at Siemens. There she managed the global InfoSec Transformation Program to refine the culture, people, policies, processes and technical portfolio of information security. Prior to that, she held senior leadership positions at Booz Allen Hamilton and Deloitte Australia.

    John G. Iannarelli recently retired from the FBI after more than 20 years of service, during which he was a member of the SWAT Team and participated in the investigations of the Oklahoma City Bombing, the 9/11 attack, and the Congresswoman Gabriel Giffords shooting.  John previously served at FBI Headquarters as their national spokesperson and on the Cyber Division Executive staff.  In Phoenix, John was the Cyber squad supervisor before promotion to Assistant Special Agent in Charge, the number two position overseeing all Criminal, Cyber, and Counter Intelligence investigations throughout Arizona.  John has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Computer Science for his contributions to the field of cyber investigations.

    John is the author of several other books, to include Why Teens Fail and What to Fix, a parents’ guide to protecting their children from Internet predators and other dangers, and Information Governance Security, how businesses can protect their sensitive data from loss or compromise.  His recently released How to Stop A Terrorist, is a guide for the average person to recognize and help prevent terrorism. John is a highly sought after speaker and has presented to Fortune 500 companies, domestic and international audiences, the United Nations, and the Vatican where he met personally with Pope Francis to discuss the evolution of cyber crime.

    A former San Diego Police Officer and a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law, to include studies of international criminal and civil law at Oxford, England, John is also an attorney admitted to the practice of law in California, Maryland and the District of Columbia. He is currently a private consultant, whose clients have included the both the FBI and a national professional sports league.

    David McCain retired as a Detective from the Huntington Beach Police Department after 23-years of service. The last 12-years was as an investigator of high tech crimes and digital forensics. He was also deputized as a Special Deputy U.S. Marshall as a task force officer for both the FBI SAFE Team and U.S. Secret Service ECTF – Electronic Crimes Task Force. Mr. McCain has also worked for the U.S. State Department, Diplomatic Security, AntiTerrorism Assistance Program teaching foreign government personnel digital forensics and high tech investigations. He has taught law enforcement/government officials in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and South America. He was also a part-time instructor for the California Department of Justice teaching computer forensics to state law enforcement officers. David has owned and operated two private consulting companies providing services to corporations and law firms. McCain holds numerous certificates for computer and mobile device forensics. He is a court certified expert as it relates to digital forensics in federal, state, and military courts. David is currently the Director of Security and Digital Forensics for the NFL.

    Shamla is an adjunct law professor, developing and teaching courses in information technology, cybersecurity and privacy law. She also has a license to practice law in both Illinois and Washington DC.

(now Express Scripts.) Frank has also held Information Security roles in the banking sector at Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank and Long Island Savings Bank. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management from New York University.

    Stan Quintana joins TAG Cyber as Executive Vice President of Business Development following his retirement from AT&T after forty-five years of service. He is an experienced executive with a demonstrated history of working in the telecommunications industry. Skilled in cyber security, IT, and network enterprise solutions, Stan's work at AT&T included creating Managed Security Services with first-to-market cloud services such as Virtual Network Based Firewalls and large scale Virtual DDOS.

    Additionally, Stan is a strong sales professional with an executive management degree focused in International Finance and Business from Yale School of Management. His areas of expertise include go-to-market strategy, strategic partnerships, professional services, and data center strategies. He has a strong financial background, and lead AT&T's Financial Accounting and policies and practices organization.  

    Stan was responsible for architecting a single financial language, which allowed AT&T to transition from FCC accounting to GAAP accounting, and unifying seven accounting systems. These actions saved AT&T hundreds of millions in ongoing annual expenses. He culminated his AT&T career as Executive Director of Intellectual Property Business Development.

In early 2018, Bob added the role of Chief Technology Officer to his existing role as CISO. Prior to BUNGE, Dr. Zandoli was the Global Chief Information Security Officer at AIG and MetLife. He also has held senior positions leading global technology infrastructure at major financial firms including Bank of America. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses. Bob holds a doctorate from Pace University in Information Technology, a MBA from Baruch College and is a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and a graduate of the FBI CISO Academy.
