As companies strive to better meet the needs and expectations of its customers, CIOs and technology executives play a critical role in identifying how advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, Big Data, analytics, the Internet of Things, blockchain and cloud computing can be leveraged to enhance the customer experience, craft customer-focused business models and  gain a competitive edge.

  • Robin Brown
    CIO, Protein Group

    Robin is the CIO for the Cargill North America Protein Group.  She has 24 years of IT experience in the agriculture, construction, healthcare, government, consulting, retail and financial sectors. Prior to Cargill, she was the VP & CIO at Mortenson Construction and held other senior leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group, Accenture, Best Buy, and Arcadia Financial.  She is known for driving technology-enabled innovation, strategic business transformation, building global shared service capabilities, and transforming IT functions to be value-driven while fostering relationships between the Business, Operations and IT delivery. 

    Robin is recognized as a transformational leader in the industry.  She is as a cultural change agent and has a reputation for stepping into very chaotic situations, assessing the landscape quickly, identifying gaps and creating a vision and strategy to move the business forward. Robin has a reputation for building and mentoring strong leadership teams that are based on a change agent philosophy and high expectations of accountability. Focusing on the culture and team member engagement is important to her. Robin’s passion is mentoring leaders and team members that have high potential.

    She is active in the community and holds several Board of Director roles.  She is part of the Think IT Board of Advisors and the Governing Body for the Minneapolis HMG CIO Executive Leadership Summit.  She’s also on the Board of Directors for EMPOWER Leadership Academy for Girls, WLiT (Women Leaders in Technology), and New Market Bank.  Robin co-leads the Think IT Women in Leadership forums and was also the President and Founding Board Member of the West Lakes Chapter of National Charity League, focusing on mothers and daughters volunteering together.

    Robin has twin daughters in their second year of college.  She travels quite a bit with her “empty nest” friends and enjoys bootcamp classes, running, volunteering, indulging in fabulous wine around her fire pit, spoiling her little niece and nephews, and riding her Harley. 

  • Jamey Cummings

    Jamey Cummings was formerly Senior Client Partner in Korn Ferry’s Global Technology Practice. He co-lead’s the Firm’s Global Cybersecurity Practice and is also a member of the Firm’s Information Officers Practice.

    Mr. Cummings is a recognized leader in advising organizations on the recruitment, assessment, development, and retention of information technology as well as information security & risk management talent at all levels, including the Board of Directors. His clients range from large global corporations to high growth entrepreneurial companies, spanning all industries. In addition to Chief Information Officers, Chief Information Security Officers, and their key leaders, he also recruits cybersecurity consultants for leading professional services firms as well as top executives for cybersecurity technology companies and managed security services providers. He is based in the Firm’s Dallas office.

    Prior to Korn Ferry, Mr. Cummings served as an associate principal in the industrial, supply chain, and transportation & logistics practices of another leading executive search firm, where he executed senior executive search assignments for both public and private equity-backed companies. He also served clients in the consumer & retail, technology, government & defense, biotechnology, and education sectors.

    Prior to his career in executive search, Mr. Cummings was a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group in Dallas, where he worked on a wide variety of projects with clients in the aerospace & defense, consumer finance, telecommunications, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and education industries.
    Earlier in his career, he served nine years with distinction as an officer in the U.S. Navy's SEAL teams.

    He earned a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University, and graduated with merit with a bachelor of science in aeronautical engineering from The United States Naval Academy.

  • Miles Edmundson
    Former Business Information Security Officer

    Miles has over 15 years’ experience in the information security arena. He has worked for two different information security consulting firms, and through these experiences, he got his hands dirty performing both external and internal vulnerability analysis, executed social engineering engagements, and finally migrated to policy and procedures projects.

    After consulting, Miles moved to Carlson Companies, one of the largest privately held companies in Minnesota, where he was their first global information security manager.  He worked closely with international business units focusing on drafting and implementation of global policies, PCI, and security awareness training.

    Miles spent five years as the information security officer at Wells Fargo: Rural Community Insurance Services. In this role, he worked with various product silos and business units to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo policies as well as to assess risk across the RCIS environment.

    Finally, he has spent the last four years as the Chief Information Security Officer for Ceridian HCM. In this role he focuses on risk mitigation, utilizing a variety of processes and technologies, compliance, policy/standards reviews, and collaboration across the global Ceridian lines of business.

    Miles is a rusty, classical/fingerstyle guitar player and even more rusty sleight of hand magician.  He has the world’s most wonderful four grandchildren. Just ask him.  His four grandchildren have the world’s greatest Papa. After all, there aren’t many grandchildren whose Papa was one of the first Power Rangers.

Rahoul’s earlier career was with Honeywell Inc where he spent over 18 years in various leadership positions, in IT as well as in Manufacturing Operations, Audit, and Marketing.

    Rahoul has been an invited speaker to China’s National Software Symposium at Chengdu. He also serves on the Board of the MacPhail center for Music in Minnesota. Rahoul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.

    Douglas Hegley, Chief Digital Officer at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, has been at the forefront of digital transformation work in the cultural heritage sector for more than 20 years. That work started out in 1997 at The Met, and continued at the Minneapolis Institute of Art in 2011 as the Chief Digital Officer, where he set the vision and strategy for digital media and technology, while also working on new leadership models, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration. In 2020, he returned to The Met as the Chief Digital Officer. Mr. Hegley is a strong advocate for productive and transformative organizational change, keeping pace with technology innovation and new business models. He has been recognized by his peers as a leader in the field, is a frequent public speaker, and has served on boards and committees at city, state, regional and national levels.

  • Mike McNamara

    Mike McNamara is executive vice president, chief information officer for Target and a member of its executive leadership team. He is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the enterprise technology systems that elevate the shopping experience for Target’s guests and team members. Mike also leads Target’s technology roadmap and enterprise data analytics and business intelligence strategy.

    Prior to joining Target in 2015, Mike spent more than 17 years at European-based retailer Tesco, most recently as the chief information officer.

    Mike is a member of the board of directors for Minnesota Opera and Genesys Works Twin Cities, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing pathways to career success for high school students in underserved communities through skills training, meaningful work experience and impactful relationships. Mike has a bachelor of engineering degree from University College Dublin.

    Anudeep joined Entrust Datacard in 2016 to lead the company’s rapid expansion to the cloud for all facets of the business. His vision and leadership is vital to transforming the company’s technology operations for colleagues and customers and increasing the digital security posture. He joined the company from Bloom Health where he served as chief technology officer.     Anudeep holds a Master’s in Computer Science from the Minnesota State University Moorhead, a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering from Gulbarga University, India and Executive Leadership Program from Carlson School of Management. He actively participates in several community and professional organizations.

    Today Dan is Principal Consultant for Ritch Vision Consulting, where he and his team design and implement innovative solutions with technology partners for customers across North America.

    With 24 years of technology leadership experience Dan has worked for iconic organizations including; Honeywell, Magna, IBM and Dell.  In his most recent role at Honeywell, he held the role of CIO and Global Service Operations Leader.   Dan worked to develop and deploy their Connected Service Platform; a comprehensive suite of tools and processes that decrease commercial building energy costs and enhance the end user experience.  

    Dan received a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University and his Master's from Walsh College.  He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Chief Information Officer from the University of South Carolina Upstate.

    Dan, his wife Michelle and their twins (Avery and Olivia) reside in Plymouth, Minnesota.

  • Mike Spencer

    As Vice President and Senior Partner of the Platform Solutions business unit, Mike is responsible for all the client related IT facing technologies for ICF Next. Mike brings nearly 30 years of IT, security and management experience to his role partnering with clients and business leaders to align priorities and engagement models within IT.

    Prior to joining ICF Next, Mike started his career in the US military (USCG) as an electrical engineer in the secure communications, global positioning and navigation electronics space leading technology implementation teams.

    Following his military service, Mike worked in several software development companies in the software, internet gaming and application performance product space. During this time Mike developed foundational knowledge in software development methodologies, internet operations and quality development practices.

    Looking to expand his horizons, Mike left the industry to do enterprise consulting for several years before joining St. Jude Medical. At St. Jude Medical, Mike was hired as an Enterprise Architect and over a period of 10 years became the Global Director of Infrastructure Engineering.

    Mike has several foundational beliefs that drive his personal and professional decisions. Everything can be better than it is today, people are the most important resource to success and finally done right is more important than done on time.

    Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, woodworking.

  • Troy Stevens

    Troy leads the Presales team for Citrix, on the US Enterprise team covering the Central United States.   In this role, he leads a team of Sales Engineering leaders and Sales Engineers.  He is responsible for customer engagement, driving strategy, maintaining the proper engineering coverage, training his team, hiring and retention.    

    Under Troy’s leadership, his team focuses on business challenges, business initiatives, and overall IT Strategy for Citrix’s Enterprise customers.  He also works closely with Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure that our focus is aligned with our customers.  He meets regularly with some of our largest customers to discuss our strategy and roadmap, and to understand our customers’ challenges and direction.  Troy also leads our compete team focused on contesting our competitors’ strategies.  

    Before Citrix, Troy worked at several Fortune 500 companies, in the financial, manufacturing and transportation industries.  Because of this background, Troy provides a unique perspective to the customer experience.
