12:10PM - 12:20PM

EXECUTIVE INTERVIEW:  The Role of Emerging Technologies in Business Digital Transformation

Phuong Tram, Chief Advisor on Digital Transformation, FPT Corporation

In the wake of the pandemic, businesses can no longer afford a gradual digital transformation journey. Soon, decision-makers were determined to place more substantial reliance on emerging technologies such as RPA, IoT, Cloud, Blockchain, AI, etc., to empower all stakeholders and drive digital business models that can withstand uncertainties.

Indeed, digital transformation has taken a quantum leap, and such a change will remain an enabler of great reset and eventually success for organizations. COVID-19 certainly has seen companies rapidly accelerate their digital transformation plans, squeeze year-long projects into a matter of weeks. They are doing it fast, Yet, are they doing it right? Less than 30% of digital transformation projects manage to improve a company's performance. Some businesses might even risk diverting from their long-term goals by moving too fast. This calls for a need to formulate a comprehensive strategy that accelerates digital transformation through the smart use of technologies without sacrificing the organization's goals.

EXECUTIVE INTERVIEW: Driving Strategic Digital Transformation in a Safe and Secure Enterprise

Pam Kubiatowski, Sr. Director of Digital Transformation, Zscaler

Protecting your company from ransomware can feel like a full-time job. From hiding in SSL to chasing unknown file downloads to preventing lateral movement, there seems to be no shortage of ways ransomware can outsmart your defenses.

Over the last year, it is estimated that ransomware inflicted damages of over $20 billion worldwide and counting. These attacks continue to impact global business operations, productivity, and costs. Cybercriminals have become more sophisticated, crafting attacks which are uniquely designed for each target, exploiting common gaps in traditional security solutions.  It’s become apparent that legacy solutions cannot stop them. There is a need to find a better approach to eliminating common blind spots and stopping ransomware.

EXECUTIVE PANEL:  Safeguarding the Enterprise Against Escalating Global Cyber Threats

Make no mistake – CISOs and cyber teams are at war against nation-state threat actors and other highly-trained adversaries. The recent SolarWinds cyber-attack is believed to be the most damaging hack of a Western government ever, along with still-to-be-determined impact on more than 425 companies in the Fortune 500 who receive services from SolarWinds. While the long-range impact for companies and government agencies continues to unfold, the attacks underscore how security is more important to organizations than ever. CEOs and Board members will be relying on CISOs and security leaders more than ever to help identify and respond to potential threats and to protect the enterprise and its crown jewels.

In this executive panel, CISOs and security leaders will share their recommendations for working with the CEO and the Board on looming cyber threats, including how best to communicate these risks and articulate where funding is needed most.

  • Zscaler

Zscaler, the only zero trust platform that securely connects any user, any device, and any app over any network. Back in the day when your users were all on the network and your applications resided in your physical data center, it made sense to establish a secure perimeter around your network. But those days are over, the perimeter is gone, and network security is all but irrelevant. Instead, you need to put your defenses and controls where the connections occur— the internet — so that every connection is fast and secure, no matter how or where users connect or where their applications reside. By moving applications and infrastructure to the cloud and untethering employees from their desks, you can realize tremendous advantages in productivity, agility, and cost containment. With our 100% cloud built secure platform, Zscaler can help you make the move to the cloud, securely.

  • Sonatype

The Sonatype journey started 10 years ago, just as the concept of “open source” software development was gaining steam. From our humble beginning as core contributors to Apache Maven, to supporting the world’s largest repository of open source components (Central), to distributing the world's most popular repository manager (Nexus), we’ve played a meaningful role in helping the world embrace the power of open innovation. Over time, we witnessed the staggering volume and variety of open source libraries that began flowing into every development environment in the world. We understood that when open source components are properly managed, they provide tremendous energy for accelerating innovation. Conversely, when unmanaged, open-source "gone wild" can lead directly to security vulnerabilities, licensing risks, enormous rework, and waste. Our vision today is simple. We are laser-focused on helping organizations continuously harness all of the good that open source has to offer, without any of the risks.

No consultants. No professional services. Delivered as a true SaaS offering.
