    Vince Campisi leads Enterprise Services at Raytheon Technologies. He oversees the company’s digital technology strategy and a wide range of shared services across the company to maximize its operating efficiency, accelerate business growth and deliver meaningful outcomes for employees, suppliers and customers. Campisi brings more than 20 years of executive experience in aerospace and defense, energy, financial services and industrial manufacturing. Most recently, prior to United Technologies Corporation’s merger with Raytheon Company in 2020, Campisi served as senior vice president and chief digital officer for UTC. In that position, he led United Technologies Digital, which focused on cybersecurity to protect company assets, on information technology to enhance employee productivity and on software and data analytics to enhance the customer experience. Prior to joining UTC, Campisi was chief operating officer at GE Digital, where he focused on boosting operating margins and increasing customer value and revenue growth through the use of software and data analytics. In addition, he held multiple leadership positions across various parts of GE, including general manager, chief information officer and quality leader. Campisi is a member of Fast Company’s Impact Council, has been recognized as a “Premier 100” honoree by CIO Magazine and Computerworld, and has been identified as a top 100 CIO/CTO by STEMconnector. He holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems and marketing from the State University of New York at Albany.

    Karl Hightower is Senior Vice President of Enterprise Information Management and Chief Data Officer for Novant Health, where he and his teams oversee the advancing of the use of information assets for the company. His teams deliver products and services ranging from advanced analytics and real-time messaging to delivering Cognitive Computing and AI solutions throughout the enterprise. He and his teams focus on simplifying how information is consumed within the decision making processes through innovative and collaborative means. Karl has held executive roles in large retail and energy trading companies, and has held pivotal roles in telecommunications, manufacturing, supply chain, insurance, government, banking and finance, and food and beverage. In these roles, Karl set strategic direction and created alignment to direct structures during the pivot years of these industries, devised and led game-changing initiatives, increased revenue by millions – and in one case billions – of dollars, became an early champion and expert in cloud adoption, personalization through social media data, real-time pricing structures, and extreme automation through machine learning and AI-based algorithms. Karl has an undergraduate degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in PoliticalScience, and was in the first class to go through Carnegie Mellon’s prestigious ISRI Enterprise Architecture and Strategy program. Karl is the son of two college professors, and is from a long line of educators. This upbringing instilled a continuous thirst for learning and creating opportunities for others to learn. While in Dallas, Karl helped to found and build the STEAM education program for the district. The program included one entirely Spanish immersive middle school as well as associate degree paths in the high schools. Karl was heavily involved in the Texas Amateur Golf Association as well as the Dallas LPGA events. In Charlotte, Karl has joined the District Advisory Board for Career and Technical Education (CTE) for the Charlotte Mecklenburg School district.

Khalid currently serves as the Research Director for the US CIO Program. In this role, he is focuses on defining and developing through leadership and insights for CIOs . Khalid is responsible for organizing and driving research initiatives – including surveys, client workshops, executive interviews, and polls – and supporting client engagements as required. Khalid works closely with other Deloitte thought leaders and innovation centers to coordinate and drive the CIO research agenda. He is also responsible for featuring Deloitte’s research in publications, keynotes, and partnerships, to highlight key issues for technology leaders globally. Before joining Deloitte, Khalid ran the CIO Research at Forrester. In this role, he was responsible for managing a global team of high-performing analysts and delivering high impact research. He also led strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities inside and outside of Forrester. Khalid also regularly advised clients on future trends and delivered keynotes at technology conferences globally. Khalid regularly volunteers and previously served as the vice president of training for a nonprofit youth group and chair of its annual event. He is an avid squash player, dormant long distance runner, and conversant in four languages.

    Stuart Kippelman is the Chief Information Officer of Parsons Corporation, one of the world’s leading digitally enabled solutions provider focused on the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets. He is responsible for the global IT function, including leading all aspects of Parsons information technology strategy and operations, including digital business transformation. He plays a crucial role in the implementation of critical capabilities to serve Parsons’ customers, leveraging his experience in global transformations, business intelligence, data mining, and cloud computing to advance commercial offerings.

     Prior to joining Parsons, Stuart was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Platform Specialty Products, Covanta Energy and Biotest.  For his transformational work, Stuart has received numerous prestigious industry recognitions including Top 100 CIO's in STEM 2015, Computerworld’s 2014 Premier IT Leader Award and the CIO.com Top 100 Award in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

    Prior to joining Covanta, Stuart held many leadership and technical roles of increasing responsibility at Johnson & Johnson.  He was Corporate Director of Technology M&A and Emerging Market Growth, CIO/CTO of Health & Wellness, Vice President of Global Infrastructure Technology Engineering, and Development, as well as other roles in engineering, architecture, research, portfolio management, deployment and operations.

    Stuart holds multiple patents in data mining, analytics and Business Intelligence.  He is actively engaged in helping guide and develop the next generation of IT leadership and serves as a career mentor both for Columbia University's Executive Master of Science in Technology Management program, as well as the CIO Executive Council Pathways program.

    Shamla Naidoo is an accomplished information security executive with more than 25 years of experience. Previously she was the Global Chief Information Security Officer of IBM, responsible for safeguarding IBM globally including all its business units and brands. She was responsible for IBM's overall information security program, which includes the company’s information risk and security strategies, planning, governance, architecture, and operations.

    Prior to joining IBM, Shamla was Vice President of Information Risk and Security at Starwood Hotels and Resorts. Previous roles include Chief Information Officer, Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Risk Officer at leading companies including WellPoint, Northern Trust and ABN AMRO.

    Shamla is an adjunct law professor, developing and teaching courses in information technology, cybersecurity and privacy law. She also has a license to practice law in both Illinois and Washington DC.

    Shamla holds a bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Economics from the University of South Africa, and a Juris Doctor degree from John Marshall Law School.

    Jim Panos is currently the Chief Information Officer at Central National Gottesman Inc., a privately held $4+ billion merchant in the paper and pulp industry. Prior to that, Jim was the Director of Strategic Programs for The Dannon Company, where he led a number of key initiatives, including the implementation of Advanced Sales and Operations Planning for North America. He was also a partner at Accenture leading multiple Supply Chain and ERP programs in the Consumer Goods and Pharmaceutical industry groups.

    Mr. Puglisi is a business and technology professional with extensive experience managing complex business and technical environments across industries. He has repeatedly maximized the effectiveness of existing staff and improved relationships with business leaders. He is adept at building and leading teams and creating cross-functional partnerships to deliver on business initiatives. Mr. Puglisi has particular strengths in leadership, strategic vision, innovation and communication. In his column, View from the Bridge, he writes about business and technology and makes interesting, often humorous personal observations. Mr. Puglisi is currently a member of the North Andover Investors Collaborative, Board member of a specialty beverage manufacturer, Partner at Versento and advisor to several other companies. Most recently, Mr. Puglisi was Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Innovairre Communications, the worldwide leader in fundraising, supporting agencies and nonprofit organizations. Prior to that, Mr. Puglisi was Vice President and CIO for EMCOR Group Inc., the world's leader in specialty construction, facilities services and energy infrastructure, Vice President and CIO at Chartwell Re, a major insurance and reinsurance company and Corporate Director of IT at Lehrer McGovern Bovis, one of the largest Construction Management firms in the world. Mr. Puglisi started his business career as a partner of a quantitative marketing analysis consulting company for over 14 years. Responsibilities included sales, account management, marketing, product development, system installation, training, support and management consulting.

    Anna Ransley is an experienced CIO and digital transformation executive, currently heading the IT function at Heineken USA as a Vice President, GIS.  This multi-faceted role consists developing and executing an ambitious technology transformation for a highly progressive organization by championing leading edge digital efforts as well as rebuilding core back-office systems to modernize the workplace.

    Her extensive track record of setting and achieving business strategies by innovative application of technical solutions and re-engineering spanned roles in marketing and most areas of technology in a variety of industries and disciplines. These roles resulted in successful implementations of ERP and CRM Systems, leveraging big data and predictive analytics to uncover revenue generating insights and leading large organizational transformations of cross-functional and global teams.

    Anna is an accomplished practitioner with career highlights that include international leadership roles at Boerhinger Ingelheim – a global Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical, Connolly, Inc – an audit recovery firm, Hyperion Solutions - a leading Software company acquired by Oracle, and consulting at Keane that exposed her to a number of fortune 100 companies and industries to frame her perspective.

    Anna has a special interest in transforming teams into business differentiating partners, and believes that one of the best ways of accomplishing that is through developing organizational talent that has both depth in technology and business drivers to take advantage of rapidly changing landscape of technological advances.

  • Jim Swanson

    James (Jim) Swanson previously served as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Head of Digital Transformation for the Crop Science division of Bayer. Based in Monheim, Germany, Swanson led teams across the world using digital innovation and data science to transform and deliver world-class products and services sustainably. 

    Most recently, Swanson was the Chief Information Officer at Monsanto for the past five years. His breadth of experience also includes executive and scientific roles at Merck, Johnson & Johnson and SmithKline Beecham. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Bioscience and Biotechnology and a master’s degree in Computer Science, both from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Swanson is a member of the St. Louis CIO Board, Washington University’s Information Technology Advisory Council and the External Advisory Committee of the McDonnell International Scholars Academy at Washington University. 

    Swanson is married with three daughters. In his free time, he enjoys running, biking, skiing, scuba diving and boating. Swanson volunteers with the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight Organization, United Way Ready by 21 and the American Heart Association.

    George Westerman works at the intersection of executive leadership and technology strategy.  During nearly 20 years with MIT Sloan School of Management, he has written three award-winning books, including Leading Digital: Turning Technology Into Business Transformation and IT Risk: Turning Business Threats Into Competitive Advantage

    As a pioneering researcher on digital transformation, George has published papers in Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review, and other top journals.  He is now focused on helping interested organizations to rethink the process of workforce learning around the world.

    George is co-chair of the MIT Sloan CIO Leadership Awards, a member of the Digital Strategy Roundtable for the US Library of Congress, and faculty director for two executive courses at MIT Sloan. He works frequently with executive teams and industry groups globally. Prior to earning a Doctorate from Harvard Business School, he gained more than a dozen years of experience in product development and technology leadership roles.  

  • Michael Zanga

    Michael Zanga is a Business Development Executive at IBM. Mr. Zanga had been previously seated on TechR2’s Advisory Board which is a data protection, assessment and eradication firm. He also was on the Board of Alkymi which is a Natural Language and Artificial Intelligence data manipulation firm. Mr. Zanga is very experienced in all facets of technology from working at major international banking institutions including the Royal Bank of Scotland as CIO, Deutsche Bank as CTO and the Union Bank of Switzerland as an Engineer. Early in his career he worked at the Greenwich Connecticut Board of Education as an analyst. He is a CISSP certified in information security and has a Master’s degree from Iona College. He has worked with the Federal Reserve on reviews of practices across banks. Mr. Zanga has focused on cost containment and the continual alignment of technology initiatives with business needs. Mr. Zanga led in a variety of information security initiatives including safeguarding critical, confidential, and sensitive data which provided him with the insight into data security regulations making him a subject matter expert.

    Michael is on the Board of the Stamford Connecticut Public Education Foundation (SPEF). Founded in 1996, the mission of the Stamford Public Education Foundation (SPEF) is to deliver educational programs and resources that elevate student, educator, and parent success by bridging the gap between needs in the Stamford Public Schools and resources in our community. The Foundation’s vision is that each and every student in the Stamford Public Schools will graduate high school prepared and inspired to be a productive member of society.

    Michael also worked with the Utah Chamber of Commerce as well as University of Utah and BYU to create in school curriculum that aligned to the Royal Bank of Scotland open roles. Internship programs and Graduate program were created which fostered junior talent at the bank as they created an Operations program in Salt Lake City.
