Pieter Poll, Senior Vice President, CenturyLink

Digital Transformation is the hottest buzzword in IT – and it’s really happening. Today’s innovative businesses are harnessing the power of digital to improve operations; disrupt competition and devise new businesses and business models.  In most organizations the network architecture currently in place is outdated and was designed for an era when the majority of network traffic was “best effort” in nature. Traditional networks must now evolve because they have limitations with respect to supporting a digital organization.  Dr. Poll will review the most recent trends in network evolution along with insights on which are fads vs. transformative and even revolutionary. This will be done through both the lens of cost as well as service innovation and partnerships.
