With his broad industry, organizational and technology perspectives, the entrepreneurial-minded Doucette is a recognized expert in software development lifecycle management, with several national speaking credits and publications to his name.

    His career has focused on all aspects of delivering custom software to solve complex business problems with a focus on developing technology that is rewarding for the teams writing the code, as much as the customers using the products delivered. He launched his career as a Communications officer in the US Air Force handling several high profile projects involving the stealth fighter F-117 program in Nevada and developing statistical software to analyze secure streaming data captured by fighter jets in dogfights for Red Flag operations. He began his private sector career in Boston in 1990 as a Digital EDP Auditor for Coopers & Lybrand. He then continued with various software development roles in the New England area, and eventually co-authored a patent for scanning technology using EDI in the manufacturing and distribution industry. After some time as a Java developer at a startup company in Cambridge, MA, John found himself as a Development Manager at TJX Companies. His passion for SDLC and ALM drove significant improvements for the company, including early adoption of Agile and automated DevOps while supporting a large mainframe modernization program in Merchandising Systems.

    After joining Magenic in 2008 as a consultant in the Boston office, John transitioned to the national level in Minneapolis and took the leadership role as the first General Manager of the National Markets branch, building a business outside of established regions to over $50M in less than 4 years.

    John lives in Minneapolis, MN with his wife after raising his children in Boston for 22 years. When not working, John enjoys scuba diving, international travel, photography and golf.

    John is the Chief Technology Officer at Enova International, a large publicly-traded FinTech company based in Chicago. At Enova, John is responsible for driving the company’s technology and product strategy to leverage advanced digital experiences and data science to deliver on its mission to help hard-working people access fast, trustworthy credit. 

    In addition to his work at Enova, John is a member of the board of directors for the Illinois Technology Association, and a member, investor, and advisor with Hyde Park Angels. He also serves an adjunct professor at Lewis University teaching MBA courses on technology and entrepreneurship. 

    Prior to Enova, John served as the CTO for FTD Companies, Wheels, and Applied Systems. Flowers, cars, insurance, and now money — proof that technology powers every facet of our lives.

    John holds a B.A. from Northern Illinois University and M.S. in IT and Privacy Law, with honors from The John Marshall Law School and is a frequent writer and speaker on diversity, technology, and leadership.

    Dan is a native New Yorker who currently resides in Chicago with his wife Catherine.  He enjoys spending quality time with his four grown children who are busy pursuing careers in all different parts of the US.

    Naveed Husain, Vice President Office Public Sector and Education is charged with developing the strategic alignment with industry trends.  As a former customer of RingCentral, he is passionate about assisting new and existing customers adopt and leverage cloud-based Unified Communication as a Service and Contact Center as a Service.  Formerly, he was the Chief Information Officer of Teachers College, Columbia University and had implemented RingCentral’s product suite, he has real world insights on the challenges and benefits of introducing a UCAAS/CCAAS solution.  In his roles as a Chief Information Officer, he has empowered his teams to provide agile and consultative services using a cloud to deliver elegant solutions for research, teaching and learning that have resulted in business efficiencies and enhanced student experience.  Naveed brings over 20 years of global professional experience in the private and public sectors, having served as the Chief Information Officer at Queens College, City University of New York where he aligned the technology departments goals to the College’s Strategic Plan.  He has worked in challenging duty stations for the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations, like Mogadishu and Iraq and has led enterprise projects for multinational firms in New York, London, Hong Kong, and Beijing.

    Cathie Kozik joined PSAV in January 2015 as Chief Information Officer. A seasoned leader, she is responsible for ensuring PSAV has the information solutions needed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in delivering services to its customers around the globe. 

    Prior to joining PSAV, Kozik was the Executive Vice President and CIO for the Hub Group, a $3B transportation company. She was focused on reinvigorating the information technology team to deliver high-quality, on-time programs with strategic and secure use of cloud service offerings and other current technologies, processes and approaches.

    Prior to the Hub Group, Kozik spent 10 years at Motorola, Inc., where she held roles in customer service and information technology. In addition to leading IT for key divisions, she led the information technology separation of the company as it split into two publicly traded companies in 2010. Prior to Motorola, she worked for Tellabs in engineering and information technology, serving as its first CIO, as well as for AT&T in engineering.

    Kozik earned her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. She has earned several industry-related honors, including being named a Purdue Distinguished Engineer and to the CIO Hall of Fame.

    Outside of PSAV, she serves on the board of Northwestern Medicine Health Care, one of the nation’s top healthcare providers, as well as the board for Lumity, a non-profit focused on ensuring that every student has access to STEM career readiness throughout high school. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, biking, and spending time with her husband of 35 years, Jack, and her kids, Mike and Liz.

  • Quintin McGrath

    Quintin McGrath is a passionate leader, a global team builder and an energetic change agent. He joined Deloitte over 20 years ago in South Africa as their first CIO. In late 2001, he moved with Deloitte to the USA as part of the first Global CIO’s leadership team. Over the years, he has led various global technology programs, eventually leading the Global Application Development team for 8 years. In 2015, he initiated the transition of Deloitte to becoming a shared services-based organization and he now leads a team that is driving a more agile and responsive Deloitte Global IT. This includes driving global Enterprise Architecture, Innovation, Quality and Change. He is a long-standing member of Deloitte’s Global Technology Executive team.

    Quintin began his career as a network engineer with South African Telecom. Then, as the first CIO of the South African Post Office after its split from the telecom organization, he built the organization from scratch, starting with simply a check in his hand. He later became the Founder and CEO of an Internet solutions provider, Q-Data Internet, after a short stint as a Business Consultant for a large IT Solutions house.

    Quintin is an Electronic Engineer by profession, holding an MS Degree in Engineering from the University of Cape Town. He also has a Business Leadership MBA from the University of South Africa. As a proponent of life-long learning, he is currently reading for an MA from Wheaton College in Chicago, focusing in part on effective cross-cultural leadership and communication.

    Along with his determination for personal growth, he is obsessed with developing the people around him, and especially the next generation of millennial leaders.

    Mr. Modruson served as the CIO of Accenture from 2003 to 2014. Also, during his 27 years with Accenture, he was a technology leadership partner and client partner. Mr. Modruson currently serves on the boards of Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), and First Midwest Bancorp (NASDAQ: FMBI). Previously, Mr. Modruson served on the boards of Landauer (NYSE: LDR), Forsythe Technologies (private ESOP), and also Taleris, a joint venture between Accenture and GE Aviation. Mr. Modruson chaired the IT Committee at Zebra Technologies and co-chaired the Technology Committee at Forsythe.  Mr. Modruson also advises some of the world’s largest companies on Information Technology strategy, transformations, and program implementations. Previous positions include the CIO of Uline in Waukegan, Illinois, the Corporate Director (CIO) of Information Technology & Services at Trinity Industries in Dallas, Texas, the CIO of a US Freightway’s reverse logistics subsidiary in Dallas, Texas, the Director (CIO) of Management Information Systems for PrimeSource Building Products in Carrollton, Texas, and progression through several levels of management at Frito-Lay and Texas Instruments.

Muddu led Kazeon to be a leader in Information Security, eDiscovery, and Enterprise Search markets. Before Kazeon in 2003, he was Co-founder & President of Sanera Systems, a next-generation SAN technology company. Sanera was started in 1999 and was acquired by McData (Brocade) in 2003.  From 1996 to 2000, Sudhakar was lead architect and designer of CPU and server technology at Silicon Graphics, Inc. 

    Sudhakar holds a PhD and MS in Computer Science from University of California, Los Angeles and a BS in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.  He is widely published in industry journals and conference proceedings and has more than 20 patents in Cyber Security, Big data analytics, Machine learning, Analytics, Cloud Services, SaaS Apps, Enterprise Search, Information Management, Distributed systems, Storage technologies, SAN/NAS, Server technologies, Virtualization, Search, Information security, Networking technology and VLSI chip design.

  • Frank Yanan

    Frank Yanan is the Global Head of Security Operations for Zurich Insurance, one of the largest multi-line insurance carriers in the world with 55,000 people in 170 countries. Reporting to Zurich’s global CISO, Frank is responsible for setting the vision, and establishing the strategy and program to ensure information assets are adequately protected through Zurich’s security toolkit. In addition, he leads Zurich’s global identity administration services team.

    An executive with a proven track record of success, Frank had held several significant senior IT positions throughout his career. Prior to Zurich, he was the SVP / CIO for Barrington Capital, where he was responsible for defining the strategic use of technology and overseeing all aspects of IT for Barrington Capital and its primary subsidiary, Florida Family Insurance. He also led a successful consulting practice serving the needs of private equity firms and small/mid-sized businesses in the areas of IT strategy, due diligence assessments and merger integrations.

    Frank was formerly Vice-President at Hewitt Associates (Aon) in charge of Hewitt’s global applications. In addition, Mr. Yanan served as the Chief IT Delivery Officer for Sears, leading major efforts in the areas of Merchandising, Supply Chain, HR, Infrastructure Outsourcing, Retail, Home Services and Sears.com.

    Mr. Yanan began his career with Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and has also held key positions at McDonald’s and The Revere Group, an IT consulting firm. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Northwestern University and is active in a number of professional organizations, including the Association for Information Technology Professionals and the Society for Information Management.
