    Grant Bourzikas is chief information security officer (CISO) and vice president of the Data Science Applied Research group.

    As CISO, he is responsible for McAfee’s cybersecurity and physical security strategy, including security architecture and solutions delivery, security governance, risk and vulnerability, and security operations and intelligence programs. As McAfee’s Customer Zero, he is responsible for protecting the McAfee organization by implementing and operationalizing McAfee endpoint security, advanced threat detection, security and event management, and the Data Threat Intelligence Insights Platform. In addition, he leads our Data Science organization, which is focused on defining the overall data strategy and governance for McAfee Labs.

    Prior to this role, he spent 19 years in cybersecurity strategy, architecture, engineering, and operations. He is a four-time CISO, having expanded his experience at a Fortune 500 gaming company, a top financial services bank and brokerage organization, and a Fortune 500 critical infrastructure utility company. He began his career in public accounting, during which he led cybersecurity strategy and assessment consulting teams.

    He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and is a certified public accountant. He is currently working on his master’s degree in data science and machine learning at Southern Methodist University. He was named one of Computerworld’s "40 Innovative People to Watch, Under the Age of 40."

He held senior level positions with companies in a variety of industries, including Sun Microsystems, Price Waterhouse, and Wells Fargo Bank.

    Mark holds a master’s degree in finance and international business from University of San Diego and a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences from University of Clarion. Mark developed and taught a graduate class, “Building Business Value through IT Innovation”, at the Haas School of Business at University of California at Berkeley.

    Jon combines his accounting, finance and information system experience managing all IT and IS functions across the firm’s global offices and developing decision-making and investment management resources.    Beginning in the early 2000s, Jon worked to develop the firm’s investment data systems and since 2009 has controlled all design and development of those systems.  Jon’s responsibilities include oversight of teams of accountants and international software engineers, tasked with data capture. 

    Since moving into the CIO position in early 2015, Jon developed and implemented the roadmap to move the firm’s infrastructure from entirely on premise to a refreshed, hybrid-cloud strategy.  Jon led an implementation of Backstop CRM at Horsley Bridge in 2017.  Jon also is developing a roadmap for the next generation of investment management and data systems for the firm.

    Jon grew up in rural northwest Ohio and graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a B.S. in Business Finance with an emphasis in Political Science.  Jon began his career in finance at the Harbor Funds in Toledo, Ohio before moving California in early 1999.

    Jon lives in the East Bay with his wife and children and enjoys baseball, college football, hiking and cooking in his spare time.

Sanera was started in 1999 and was acquired by McData (Brocade) in 2003.  From 1996 to 2000, Sudhakar was lead architect and designer of CPU and server technology at Silicon Graphics, Inc. 

    Sudhakar holds a PhD and MS in Computer Science from University of California, Los Angeles and a BS in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.  He is widely published in industry journals and conference proceedings and has more than 20 patents in Cyber Security, Big data analytics, Machine learning, Analytics, Cloud Services, SaaS Apps, Enterprise Search, Information Management, Distributed systems, Storage technologies, SAN/NAS, Server technologies, Virtualization, Search, Information security, Networking technology and VLSI chip design.
