    Dr. Ashwin Ballal has been Chief Information Officer at Medallia since 2016. Previously, Dr. Ballal was Vice President and Chief Information Officer for KLA-Tencor from 2009-2016, President and Managing Director for KLA-Tencor India from 2007-2009 and General Manager for the Macro Inspection division for KLA-Tencor in Milipitas, CA from 2005-2007.

    He began at KLA-Tencor in 2000 and has held various executive and senior level positions, including those in marketing, engineering, program and operations management. During his tenure with the company, he also was General Manager for the Macro Inspection Product Division with full P&L responsibilities.

    Before joining KLA-Tencor, Dr. Ballal held various senior management positions at Electroglas Inc., Keithley Instruments and Noran Instruments. He earned his doctorate and post doctorate degrees in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park and his bachelor's degree in Metallurgy from the National Institute of Technology in India. Dr Ballal lives in San Jose, CA with his wife Sandhya, daughter Shyna, and son Shawnuk. He is an avid sports enthusiast and loves to travel to exotic locations around the world with his family.

    Colleen Berube is a Digital and Business Model Transformation Leader who assists companies in navigating the changing technology landscape and its implications for the market as well as inside the enterprise.  She has nearly two decades of experience in IT leadership, strategy, IT innovation, enterprise software and business consultation.  Colleen is known for her ability to successfully navigate complex business transitions, to elevate and leverage IT as a differentiator, and to build amazing teams that surpass expectations. 

    Colleen was previously an Executive in Residence with PwC where she works on various commercial and internal initiatives providing ‘the voice of the client.’  Prior to PwC, Colleen was Vice President of IT for Adobe Systems, where she was responsible for all business systems, e-commerce and information management.  She was responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of the Adobe’s large-scale transformation to the Subscription Economy. She led a global engineering organization that is redefined IT’s role as a SaaS enabler driving key changes including the move from Data to Digital, from Product to Customer focus, from Orders to Subscriptions, in delivering Agility for Product Engineering. She has also held executive level IT roles at Cisco Systems, Palm and SAP.

    She is a Board Director for The Institute for Human and Social Development (IHSD), a non-profit organization providing early childhood education and services to the high need pre-school children and their families.  She is also a member of the Nominating Committee for the Anita Borg Institute Technical Leadership Award and an active member of the Athena Alliance supporting women impacting at the highest levels of leadership. She holds a BA from State University at Potsdam, NY, and a MBA is from the University of North Florida.

    Ekta Chopra, Vice President, Digital - - Chopra joined e.l.f in January 2016 and brings over 20 years of Technology experience from private equity and retail companies. In her current role, she is responsible for digital transformation, including engineering, data ecosystem, enterprise applications, security, and consumer technologies. She is actively involved with leading our Digital efforts to grow our digital footprint across the globe. She joined e.l.f from the James Irvine Foundation, where she defined and led the execution of a highly successful technology strategy for 2.1B investment portfolio. There she focused on technology roadmap for enterprise applications, cloud transformation, and building relationships with top silicon valley brands to start new partnerships. Prior to that, she served as VP of Technology for Charming Charlie, a specialty retailer that grew from 17 to 120 stores nationally. While at Charming Charlie, she led the implementation of a new ERP system, build-out of a new data center, and rollout of VoIP services. She holds B.A in technology & operations management with a minor in finance from California Polytechnic State University. She enjoys volunteering at non-profits by helping them build their technical capacity, is a member of Silicon Valley CIO/CTO groups as a thought leader.

  • Kostas Georgakopoulos

    Kostas Georgakopoulos is the Chief Information Security Officer at Procter & Gamble based out of Cincinnati, Ohio and leads the company’s Global Information Security Program. Mr. Georgakopoulos is responsible for the firms Information Security Governance Framework, as well as developing, mentoring and managing a team of Information Security professionals to proactively address advanced persistent threats, blended targeted attacks, and application security threats.

    Prior to Procter & Gamble Mr. Georgakopoulos served as the Americas Head of Security Technology at UBS where he provided subject matter expertise to senior management in the development, implementation and maintenance of the firms Enterprise Information Security Framework.

    Earlier in his career, he served as CISO at NASDAQ OMX where he led the organization through a targeted APT breach and worked closely with the NSA, DHS, the FBI and US-CERT.

    Mr. Georgakopoulos has also built and led security programs at Bank of China, Deutsche Bank, Citigroup and People’s Bank.

    He has spoken at various security forums including at RSA 2014 and has taught Cybersecurity courses at Fairfield University and Sacred Heart University.

    He has earned a master’s degree in International Law & Diplomacy at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. He received his undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts from UCONN.

    Shashi Kiran is the Chief Marketing Officer at Aryaka Networks responsible for Aryaka’s global marketing, product management and technology partnerships. He brings over 20 years of experience in the hi-tech industry across marketing, product management, business development and partnerships.

    Shashi is a former marketing leader at Cisco where he led worldwide product and solutions marketing teams for several multi-billion dollar portfolios spanning datacenter, cloud, security and enterprise networking. From 2011-13 he also led Cisco $15B+ combined switching portfolio. He was instrumental in launching the company’s SDN strategy and ramping up its application centric infrastructure (ACI) offering. Most recently Shashi was the CMO for Quali, a VC-backed firm focused on Cloud and DevOps automation.

    Currently he serves on the advisory board of The Fabric – an early stage VC firm, 8VC-backed Ushur and Frontdesk.ai.  Shashi is a frequent industry speaker, blogger and columnist to Forbes and Money Inc.

    Shashi holds a degree in Electronics Engineering and an MBA in Marketing, both from India, with executive education stints at Harvard and Stanford universities. He is also a practicing CISSP.

    Loura is a recipient of Computerworld’s 2012 Premier 100 IT Leaders and Consumer Goods Technology’s 2013 CIO of the Year. He holds a B.S. in computer science-mathematics from Saint Joseph's College and a Masters in computer science from Northwestern University.

    Susan also held several senior leadership roles across 11 years at The Corporate Executive Board (acquired by Gartner). She pioneered several CEB businesses for heads of Finance, HR, Legal, Operations and Procurement, Sales, Marketing, and IT, including the SMB start-up division, with responsibility for $60M+ growth, 175+ staff and 5000+ customers, the global advisory offering, and emerging issues research. Susan’s career is grounded in strategy, with experience as a strategy consultant at Mercer Management Consulting, a contributing author to several best-selling books on digital business design, as well as strategy and new product development at Staples, Inc.

    As the CIO for El Camino Hospital, Deb Muro has transformed and improved the consumer and patient experience through innovation and partnerships in the Silicon Valley.   With more than 25 years of combined nursing, clinical, healthcare and technology experience, Deb has held various healthcare IT leadership positions focused on the delivery and realization of optimal technology solutions and best practices.  Prior to joining El Camino Hospital, she served in Executive level positions for multiple health care organizations leading large enterprise wide digital transformation implementations spanning multiple acute care hospitals, outpatient facilities, ambulatory clinics and community networks.   In her current role at El Camino, she is responsible for leading the technology strategy, resources and cybersecurity programs while re-defining services and products to meet today’s unique healthcare environment.      

    Ms. Muro holds a Bachelor in Science in Nursing Degree from Baylor University and a Master of Science Degree in Human Relations and Business from Amber University.   In 2012, Deb was nominated as a Finalist for the Iowa Technology Association “Women of Innovation” Award.”   Deb was identified by Becker’s Healthcare as one of the “100 Community Hospital CIOs to Know” for both 2017 and 2018.
