Snehal was formerly the CTO of Splunk, and before that, a CIO at GE Capital.     Meredith Harper serves as vice president and chief information security officer at Eli Lilly and Company. She is responsible for the company’s global information security program. 

     

    Prior to joining Lilly in 2018 as senior director, deputy chief information security officer, Meredith served as chief information privacy and security officer at Henry Ford Health System, where she had ultimate responsibility for the protection of Henry Ford’s provider, insurance, retail and research businesses.    

     

    Meredith is an active member of the Health Care Compliance Association where she holds dual certifications in healthcare compliance and privacy. She is certified as a Healthcare Information Security & Privacy Practitioner through the International Information System Security Certification Consortium Inc. and a Certified Information Security Manager through the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.

     

    She earned a master’s degree in health services administration and a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from the University of Detroit Mercy. She also earned a master’s of jurisprudence in health law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.  

     

    Meredith serves on several advisory boards in support of empowering women and minorities to embark upon careers in technology, especially in information security. She has also served her community for 29 years through her Diamond Life membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

    John Rossman served as the interim CIO for a large rental business retailer and helped implement multiple cost reduction and service improvement programs.

    Before joining A&M, Mr. Rossman was Director of Enterprise Services at Amazon.com, managing worldwide services to enterprise clients such as Target.com, Toys R Us, Sears.ca, Marks and Spencer and the National Basketball Association (NBA). In this role, he had full operational and technical ownership for existing clients, overseeing e-commerce solutions such as online merchandising capability, website technologies, branded fulfillment delivery and branded customer service.

    As Director of Merchant Integration at Amazon.com, he was responsible for developing the Merchants @ program, one of the largest B2B networks with thousands of sellers, offering products in new categories such as apparel, sporting goods, consumer electronics, health and beauty and home.

    Previously, he was a partner with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.

    Mr. Rossman earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Oregon State University.

  • Michael Vennera

    Independence Blue Cross

    Mike Vennera is senior vice president and chief information officer at Independence Blue Cross (Independence). In this role, he oversees the company’s information services, business transformation, and informatics divisions. He is also responsible for developing and executing the company’s business technology strategy for growth as well as the company’s innovation efforts.

    Mr. Vennera brings a rare blend of expertise in strategic planning and deep understanding of IT innovation to his CIO role. He had previously served as vice president of strategy and innovation where he led efforts to develop a four-year strategy for Independence Blue Cross and its subsidiaries. He also oversaw Independence’s innovation efforts, including the rollout of the innovation culture and capabilities program and the creation of the Independence Blue Cross Center for Health Care Innovation.

    Mr. Vennera has been with Independence for more than 20 years. He has held a number of roles in various areas, including informatics, information systems, and operations.

    Mr. Vennera is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in information systems.

    Jennifer Wesson Greenman is the Chief Information Officer of Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA). Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa, where she served for five years as Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer.

    In her role at CTCA, Greenman works to implement technology advances and enhancements to empower its internal and external partners with a resilient, responsive and high-performing technology infrastructure to meet the broad needs of the patients and families who come to CTCA for their care.   

    At Moffitt, Greenman provided leadership and strategic direction for technologies used across the institution, supporting exceptional care delivery and fueling breakthrough scientific discoveries. During her tenure, Moffitt was recognized as a "Best Place to Work in IT" by Computerworld from 2017 through 2019. Additionally, Moffitt was recognized by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives as a “Healthcare Most Wired” organization in 2019, recognized for exemplifying best practices through the adoption, implementation and use of technology. Prior to that, Greenman worked for Tampa’s Bayfront Health System in a variety of IT management roles, including Chief Information Officer. She started her career as a Solution Delivery Consultant for Cerner Corporation. 

    Greenman obtained an MBA from the University of Florida and undergraduate degrees in Management Information Systems and Finance from Florida State University. She is a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives and was recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as a finalist for the "CIO of the Year Award" in 2016 and 2018.

    The Society for Information Management (SIM) is comprised of Senior Technology Leaders with the common goals of networking, professional development and community involvement. The SIM Philadelphia Chapter is composed of over 250 active members from the area and is part of the national SIM network consisting of 5,000 members. We work together to share and enhance our rich experience for the benefit of our members, organizations and communities. The philanthropic organization, Philadelphia Philanthropic Society for Information Management Foundation Inc.(PHSIM), is the sister organization to the Philadelphia chapter, which concentrates on organizing charitable activities for the technology community. PHSIM raises money to provide scholarships to local college students and provides funding to teen computer camps run by other non-profit organizations. PHISIM and SIM Philadelphia work together to run several events and raise funds in order to inspire younger generations to become leaders in information technology. SIM Philadelphia is the premier society for IT professionals and thought leaders. Our value is delivered through multiple networking opportunities, and events, along with education through gatherings, workshops, and forums where practitioners, academics, and consultants collaborate, share knowledge, and experiences. To ensure a high quality environment and to maximize the networking experience, all attendees must be:

  • Employed C-Level executives (non-vendor) or equivalent, CIOs, Direct Reports of CIOs, or Senior Most IT Professional in an organization with $200M or greater revenue, or from not-for-profit or government organizations with comparable size
