As companies think about how best to ensure they make great products with a workforce that mirrors their customer base, many CIOs and business technology executives are looking for effective ways to ensure the talent in their organization is optimized and representative.  Being purposeful about mentorship and sponsorship in your organization can be very helpful to ensuring your talent is engaged and productive with a meaningful career, especially as companies rethink the hybrid workforce.  Whether it's a formal program or an informal one, you have an opportunity to make an impact and help employees and direct reports grow in their current roles with an eye toward the future.

This panel discussion of top executives will focus on what’s required to create a community of mentorship that will align your top talent to the mission of your organization as they develop themselves.   This aspect of culture is essential to aiding your organization in embracing diversity, equity and inclusion and driving performance.  The speakers will also explore the differences between mentorship and sponsorship along with actionable approaches to sponsoring rising stars.

As executive teams strive to become more diverse and to promote equity and inclusion across the organization, a good starting point for male executives is to do a better job of mentoring women into leadership roles. In many cases, this requires a mindset change among men to champion female colleagues who likely act and behave differently than they do and break free from a boys’ club mentality. In this executive panel discussion, top female business technology executives will discuss the mind shift that needs to occur in a male-dominated C-suite hierarchy along with recommendations for encouraging male executives to embrace these changes.

  • Sonatype

The Sonatype journey started 10 years ago, just as the concept of “open source” software development was gaining steam. From our humble beginning as core contributors to Apache Maven, to supporting the world’s largest repository of open source components (Central), to distributing the world's most popular repository manager (Nexus), we’ve played a meaningful role in helping the world embrace the power of open innovation. Over time, we witnessed the staggering volume and variety of open source libraries that began flowing into every development environment in the world. We understood that when open source components are properly managed, they provide tremendous energy for accelerating innovation. Conversely, when unmanaged, open-source "gone wild" can lead directly to security vulnerabilities, licensing risks, enormous rework, and waste. Our vision today is simple. We are laser-focused on helping organizations continuously harness all of the good that open source has to offer, without any of the risks.

No consultants. No professional services. Delivered as a true SaaS offering.

  • Zscaler

Zscaler, the only zero trust platform that securely connects any user, any device, and any app over any network. Back in the day when your users were all on the network and your applications resided in your physical data center, it made sense to establish a secure perimeter around your network. But those days are over, the perimeter is gone, and network security is all but irrelevant. Instead, you need to put your defenses and controls where the connections occur— the internet — so that every connection is fast and secure, no matter how or where users connect or where their applications reside. By moving applications and infrastructure to the cloud and untethering employees from their desks, you can realize tremendous advantages in productivity, agility, and cost containment. With our 100% cloud built secure platform, Zscaler can help you make the move to the cloud, securely.
