As the CIO for Chevron Gas & Midstream, Celia Lin is responsible for setting IT strategies, developing long term IT investment road maps, assuring organizational capability and overseeing IT support services for this organization. Celia partners with the varying companies of Gas & Midstream, including Chevron Shipping, Chevron Pipeline, Chevron Natural Gas, and Chevron Global Power Company and Gas Commercialization to achieve industry leading bresults through information and Information Technology stewardship. Celia is a member of Chevron’s CIO Leadership Team, which sets enterprise-wide IT direction, application and infrastructure key priorities as well as organizational development strategies and practices. She participates in several CIO communities and is active in mentoring and recruiting activities for Chevron. Prior to her current role, she was General Manager, IT Operations for Chevron Global Downstream. Her responsibilities included management of world-wide IT operations in over 100 countries in support of the Global Downstream business encompassing Refining, Marketing, Lubricants and Supply and Trading. She has also held the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Chevron’s Corporate Departments and Services Companies. Celia joined Texaco in 1983 and has had various assignments of increasing responsibility and complexity across all disciplines of IT. Celia graduated from University of Houston in 1983 with a M.S. degree in Computer Science.
