Chris is a transformative information security and privacy leadership consultant with an uncommon ability to make cybersecurity and data privacy understandable.
He has more than 25 years’ experience delivering, implementing and managing private, public and hybrid cloud-based information technologies. He has led InfoSec and Privacy efforts from both the vendor and company sides using ISO, NIST, CSA CCM and Nymity PAMF frameworks to address needs for SOC 2, HIPAA, SOX, PCI/DSS NY DFS 500, EU GDPR, Canadian PIPEDA and California CPA compliance.
Chris serves as the fractional CISO and DPO to Salem Memorial Hospital, the Weichert Family of Companies, and Xpand.io. He has consulted to Versum Materials and Taiho Oncology, and led IT at the Natural Resources Defense Council, Misonix, Drexel eLearning, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, GSI Health, the Wharton School, and CareScience.
He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Professional / Europe (CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Professional / United States (CIPP/US) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and was designated a Fellow in Information Privacy (FIP) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Chris earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA from the Wharton School.
