Cindy Schumacher is TriZetto’s senior vice president, chief information officer. She is responsible for driving corporate technology and security strategy, architecture, engineering, and operations in support of delivering solid products and services to TriZetto’s internal and external customers.
Schumacher has 25 years of experience in technology, with a strong focus on infrastructure and enterprise architecture. She joined TriZetto in 2012 after serving as vice president of global infrastructure services at Expedia, Inc. Schumacher previously served as Washington Mutual, Inc.’s senior vice president, division executive, infrastructure services. At Washington Mutual, she was responsible for an annual operating budget in excess of $450 million and led numerous enterprise initiatives, including technology consolidations, migrations, rationalizations and integrations. Schumacher also has worked as a consultant in technology management and strategy, with a focus on cost optimization and process improvement. She earned a bachelor’s degree in information technology at Roosevelt University and an M.B.A. at University of Phoenix.
