Gail is a seasoned executive with experience in finance and education tech sectors in Technology and HR. She is recognized for setting strategies that enable organizations to realize their talent potential, navigate change and create an engaged and diverse workplace.
Currently, Gail is the SVP HR, Product and Technology and is leading Pearson’s digital product transformation by defining the organization, culture change and aggressively building out agile teams that are needed to create word class digital educational products.
Prior to joining Pearson, her passion for creating opportunities to help people realize their potential and provide access to economic growth led her to the Markle Foundation. Here she led research focused on creating opportunities for people to learn and train for new skills in innovative ways.
During Gail’s 25-year career at Goldman Sachs, she had senior roles in Technology and Human Capital Management (HCM). In her role as the HCM head for Business Partner teams, she was an active voice for women and in particular women in Tech. Gail was responsible for the firm’s workforce re-entry programs, The Returnship™– an internship designed for people rejoining the workforce after an extended personal time off.
Gail is a Board member at NPower whose mission to bring the tech community together for social good by creating pathways to economic prosperity by launching digital careers for veterans and young adults from underserved communities. In addition, as a senior advisor at Center for Talent Innovation she has been involved in several research studies focused on women - “The Sponsor Effect“, “Executive Presence” and the “The Athena Factor 2.0”.
Gail received a BS from Rutgers University and lives in New York City with her husband and son.
