Guy Tallent is currently the VP of Product and Community Development at Sitehands, a global IT Field Services Marketplace for the largest Financial Institutions and Fortune 500 companies. At Sitehands, Tallent provides the executive and strategic leadership needed to design, build and drive end-to-end success of next the generation of field service products and platform features. He is also responsible for all community development initiatives, including Sitehands' global ecosystem of customers and partners. Prior to joining Sitehands, Tallent was Managing Director of Business Innovation & Professional Services for Verizon Enterprise Solutions. In this capacity, he lead a team of Executive Consultants focused on driving the acceleration and success of digital transformation initiatives underway with enterprise clients.
Tallent has more than 20 years of experience in business management, digital transformation, technology systems deployment and applications development. Prior to joining Verizon in 2010, Tallent was a vice president at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and led its commercial business security consulting practice. Before joining SAIC in 2007, he was co-founder and general manager of Strategic Identity Group, LLC, a consulting company providing services to the financial, biopharmaceutical, health care, and US federal industries. He was instrumental in the creation of the Secure Access for Everyone (SAFE) global identity management standard for the biopharmaceutical industry and served as the SAFE initiative’s program director during its development phase. He also played a key role in forming a similar initiative for the financial services sector and was the founding chief executive officer of Identrust, Inc. Tallent also previously held executive positions at Chase Manhattan Bank, Bankers Trust and First Tennessee Bank.
Tallent holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, summa cum laude, from the University of Memphis and a master’s degree with honors in finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
