As Cadillac’s global CIO, Lesley and her team are instrumental in driving the Brand’s aggressive transformation. This requires a laser focus on producing innovation that gives Cadillac an edge with technology savvy Millennial and Gen Z consumers. Cadillac recruited Lesley back to the USA from the company’s International region in 2012. While overseas, Lesley was based in Shanghai, China for 3 years where she led the Purchasing, Supply Chain and the Sales and Marketing Systems functions for China and 140 other markets. Her work included bridging the technology strategies and data foundations needed with Chinese joint ventures, business partners and other wholly-owned entities in the international division. Prior to that, she worked in various leadership roles to lead large scale IT transformations of order fulfillment, purchasing and infrastructure services. Her experience also involved mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing, and insourcing - all at a global scale.
In June 2018, Lesley was honored by Ascend’s New York Chapter with their Trailblazer Award. Ascend is the largest non-profit serving the Asian executive and leadership community. In April 2019, she received the Pace University, Siedenberg School’s Innovative Leadership Award. She continues to work with Ascend, Catalyst, National Association of Female Executives (member of their Top Executive Roundtable), and other notable groups on their initiatives to promote and sponsor Asians and Women into corporate roles. She is a co-founder of Women in Technology Executive Group (WinTEG) which strives to elevate the impact and visibility of senior women leaders as advisors to large businesses, start-ups and educational institutions.
Lesley has been invited to speak on the importance of the CIO role in driving transformation and innovation at many events including: Society of Information Management, HGM, Evanta, Tech-Up for Women, Ascend Pinnacle, Pace University, NAFE Top Executive Roundtable, and SupChina Women’s Conference.
