Mark has over 32 years business experience, with the first 8 in the Entertainment and Media industry and then, after his MBA at Boston University, with PwC.   He is on the leadership team for USA and Global Cyber security and Privacy practice, is the NY Metro Practice leader and is an internationally recognized Cyber security, IT controls and operations professional with deep experience designing, implementing, benchmarking, and assessing organizational security strategies and technologies including Cyber security and Identity Management solutions.  He is the global PricewaterhouseCoopers subject matter specialist on security benchmarking.  Mark is a sought after speaker on these and other topics by various media outlets including ABC World News Tonight, NPR (All Things Considered), CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, FOX, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Variety, Financial Times and for various industry events including PCI SSC Community meetings, CSO Perspectives, The Content Protection Summit, The Microsoft CSO Summit, the MIS Training Institute events, The Information Security Forum (ISF) Congress and Chapter meetings, CSI, SHARE, ISSA, IBM Training, Vanguard, ISACA and others.  In 2015 Mark gave testimony to the Department of Labor in Washington DC on Cybersecurity protections for employee benefits information.  Since 1998 Mark has fielded and supported PricewaterhouseCoopers' yearly Global State of Information Security Survey with CIO and CSO Magazines and been the lead agent for the North American Chapter of the Information Security Forum (ISF) since 1997.  From 2005-2012, Mark was a member of the Security Management, Practices and Guidance and External Relations Committees for the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and currently is on the Advisory Board for Carnegie Mellon University’s CISO certification program.  Internally, Mark is one of the PricewaterhouseCoopers relationship Partner for Carnegie Mellon University responsible for undergraduate recruiting and supports PricewaterhouseCoopers charity efforts including The American Cancer Society, Rosie’s Theater Kids and ArtsConnection.
