Maryann Goebel

Board Member - Seacoast National Bank

Maryann Goebel is the Retired Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Fiserv.  In this role, Goebel had oversight responsibility for global IT infrastructure, technology governance and spearheading programs to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s dispersed technology resources.  Goebel joined Fiserv in 2009, bringing more than 30 years of progressive technology experience, including 15 years as a senior technology officer for some of the world’s leading companies. Prior to Fiserv, she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for DHL Express in Bonn, Germany, where she managed an organization of 1,500 people with an annual budget of more than $1 billion, with responsibilities that supported global express delivery into 222 countries.  Prior to this, Goebel held executive positions with a variety of complex technology organizations, including 7 years cumulatively with General Motors, where she rose to Chief Information Officer, North America, and Chief Strategy Officer, GM Information Systems. Additionally, Goebel worked with PepsiCo Business Solutions Group, where she was Chief Information Officer; Frito-Lay North America; Bell Atlantic, where she rose to Vice President, Information Systems and Chief Information Officer, Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile; and technology management and information systems positions with Texas Instruments, ARCO Oil and Gas Company and The Southland Corporation. She began her career as a scientific systems programmer analyst with Philadelphia Electric.  Company in 1973.  Goebel earned a bachelor of science degree in mathematics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA
