Mr. Lagana is a Managing Director at MBIA Inc, holding a dual responsibility of CTO & CISO.  In this capacity, he serves as chair of the firms Enterprise Security & Technology Council and is a standing member of the company’s Enterprise Risk & Compliance Committee.  His experience extends across all areas of IT, with deep subject matter expertise in the areas of Information Security, Risk Management, Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery, Corporate Governance, Operational Risk, Audit / Compliance, and Technology Infrastructure and Operations.

Mr. Lagana holds a Master’s degree in Management & Systems from NYU and has been a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 2002.
