Michael is CEO and co-founder of Awake Security and helped to incubate the company within Greylock Partners, where he served as an entrepreneur-in-residence. Previously, Michael was chief technologist for HP StorageWorks Enterprise NAS, joining the company through the acquisition of PolyServe, a big data infrastructure company that he founded and served as CTO. Earlier in his career, Michael was a mathematician working on differential geometry and symplectic topology. He was a Rhodes Scholar and junior research fellow in mathematics at Oxford University and holds a BA in social studies from Harvard University.
