Serena Sacks was named the 2017 Georgia CIO Leadership CIO of the Year in the Non-Profit and was named the 2015 Women in Technology Woman of the Year for promoting and mentoring women and girls in technology careers. Ms. Sacks has been a transformational business and technology leader for more than 30 years across corporate, non-profit, and government sectors. She has gained a comprehensive perspective through a variety of executive leadership positions and C-level consulting roles, working for organizations such as IBM, Walt Disney World, Wyndham, HD Supply, CIO Florida Virtual School, and currently CIO Fulton County School District in Atlanta. She was also Board Chair for the largest behavioral and mental healthcare organization in Central Florida. Ms. Sacks earned her B.A. and M.S. at SUNY Stony Brook and holds certifications in Enterprise IT Governance (ISACA), Six Sigma/LEAN, and Project Management (PMI) and has extensive training in Strategic Execution through the Balanced Scorecard Collaborative.
