Shashi Kulkarni is Fabrinet’s Vice President of IT and Cyber Security. Fabrinet is the most trusted manufacturing partner of the world’s most demanding OEM’s and specializes in precision optical, electro-optical, sophisticated electronic PCBA and electro-mechanical process technologies for high-mix, any-volume production. Shashi joined Fabrinet in July 2017 and since has taken increasing responsibility by taking over the Cyber Security aspect of Fabrinet in addition to the IT side of the complex electronic manufacturing services organization.

Shashi is a down-to-earth IT Leader having extensive experience in Corporate IT as well as IT Consulting firms and is known for IT Strategy, Program Management, Cross functional team leadership and proactive IT - Business engagement, building trust and dependability with the business leaders and executives.

Prior to Fabrinet, Shashi has served over 25 years as an IT leader in High Tech companies like Seagate, Extreme Networks and Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd., as well as IT Consulting firms like Infosys, Wipro and HCL Technologies.

Shashi holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University, India and a Diploma in Computer Software from Symbiosis Institute. Shashi enjoys sharing from his experience, the lessons learnt as well as thoughts and ideas, in his blog articles and through his YouTube channels.
