Shobie Ramakrishnan has the joint role of CDO and Tech head for GSK Pharma Commercial and joined GSK in Q4 2018.  Shobie is an enterprise technology leader who has spent about half her career in Bio Tech and half her career in Hi-Tech, working throughout at companies going through large transformations.  Early in her career, Shobie has led delivery of key transformation initiatives at Apple Inc. during their return to growth, Tech modernization and then their move into Retail.  Later, she spent 6 years at Genentech and Roche on their IT leadership team, including leading the joint effort on post-merger technology integration. More recently, Shobie has held IT leadership roles at Salesforce and Astrazeneca.   Shobie is a mentor to startups in silicon-valley and sits on the Board of Directors of Remediant, which is a cyber security startup based in San Francisco.   She is also on the advisory board of the Pistoia Alliance.
