Apple stock has been struggling recently, but that hasn’t stopped the legendary company from doing what it does best: amaze the world with great products. A vivid reminder of Apple’s power to capture the attention of a huge global audience is on full display this week at its 2022 Worldwide Developers Conference.

“iOS 16, the next major version of iPhone software, made its debut at WWDC 2022, Apple’s annual developer conference. There are actually quite a bit of new features, big, small and in-between,” writes Patrick Holland of CNET. “iOS 16 adds new ways to communicate like being able to edit messages you already sent in the Messages app, new tools to personalize your iPhone like the ability to customize the way your lock screen looks and new privacy features for those in abusive relationships. All these add up to an iOS that feels fresh and contemporary.”

This year’s conference was a mashup of live and digital presentations, reflecting the evolution of business that we’ve all experienced over the past two years. Frankly, it’s good to see a major tech firm thriving in the new hybrid environment that most of us have grown familiar with.

From my perspective, Apple has always been a genuine leader in the technology industry. I truly believe that Steve Jobs would be immensely proud of Apple’s lasting commitment to innovation, creativity and continuous reinvention.
