I'm delighted to announce that last week's 2015 Greenwich CIO Executive Leadership Summit was an incredibly valuable event - perhaps one of the best ever in a long series of truly innovative executive summits for IT leaders. More than 250 senior-level executives attended, and frankly, the levels of energy and engagement were both astounding and gratifying.
The overall theme was Envisioning the Modern Enterprise in Today's Age of Disruptive Innovation, and it set the tone perfectly for a unique event focused on the major challenges facing C-suite leaders in the 21st century enterprise.
Exceptionally strong keynote presentations were delivered by Filippo Passerini, former Group President, Global Business Services & CIO, Procter & Gamble; Timothy Kasbe, COO, Gloria Jeans Company; andChris Laping, Co-Founder & CEO, People Before Things, LLC.
Filippo took us on an insider's tour of the IT transformation that enabled P&G to test consumer reaction to new products in programmable virtual environments; Timothy told us the amazing story of how his company endured a military attack that destroyed many of its factories; and Chrisreminded us that when employees and colleagues say we're not communicating, what they really mean is we're not listening.
We heard powerful and inspiring messages from top executives who've made their mark on our industries by virtue of their vision, strategy and transformational leadership. The presentations were exciting, relevant and energizing.
