Last week, Nvidia reported earnings that continued to set Wall St. ablaze. The hardware giant posted fourth quarter revenue of $22.1 billion, representing a mammoth 265% increase from a year ago. Last week, the company briefly surpassed $2 trillion in market cap as the AI frenzy continues to grip Wall St.

Even Wired magazine has stated that Nvidia hardware is ‘eating the world.’

Without question, Nvidia is the poster child for the AI revolution. But they certainly aren’t the only tech company that’s benefiting from the AI craze. Other chip makers such as Super Micro Computer and Advanced Micro Devices are both riding the AI wave.  Meanwhile, technology platforms and services providers such as Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Adobe, Arista Networks, UiPath, Salesforce, SAP, Symbotic, and CrowdStrike are among technology providers that are benefiting from the AI boom.

Investors are rewarding these and other companies because they see the immense revenue opportunities for tech companies to harness AI to develop new products and services and to embed AI in existing products and services to help accelerate revenue growth. But the growth opportunities aren’t limited to tech companies.

The AI Gold Rush is also creating huge opportunities for CIOs and business tech leaders to work with the CEO and the senior leadership team to leverage AI to help identify and to execute on new products and services that can help differentiate their companies and brands as well as the customer experience. Consider Nvidia Co-Founder, President and CEO Jensen Huang. Huang has the global visionary leadership that we’ve been talking about in the HMG community to envision and then help Nvidia’s employees to execute on the massive opportunities in front of the company.

“In 2024, we’re studying global visionary leadership, and Jensen Huang is at the apex right now,” said Hunter Muller, Founder and CEO of HMG Strategy. “”It’s a do-or-die moment for the CIO — this might be the trend of a lifetime — being able to envision, collaborate and lead the AI strategy for a company in the next 18-to-36 months is going to define the winners in every industry for the next 20 years. Come to one of our 80 events this year where we’ll be diving into these topics with world-class CIOs, Chief Digital Officers, Chief AI Officers and other visionary business technology leaders. ”
