Abbas Faiq has over 12 years of CIO experience and is currently the Chief Information Officer at PTC. He has been in this role since 2015. At PTC, Abbas leads a global IT organization that is responsible for business applications, cloud and on prem infrastructure, security, IT operations and all levels of IT governance. He was part of the management team that led PTC’s transformation to a subscription model. Prior to PTC, Abbas was the CIO at Cepheid, a medical device company based in Sunnyvale, CA.
Abbas is a recognized technology leader with a track record of creating highly productive and strategically business aligned IT organizations. He has over 25 years of experience in successfully managing technology functions in high tech and healthcare/life sciences industries.
