Amit Shah servers as CIO for Excelitas Technologies Corp. His responsibilities include all aspects of – IT Enterprise Applications, IT Architecture, Application development, IT Infrastructure, Service delivery and Cybersecurity. Furthermore, he works very closely with SBU CTOs on adoption of AI, Machine Learning etc. in product development efforts. He works in close collaboration with COO staff in design, development and deployment of IT/OT toolsets based on Industry 4.0 framework.

 

He has worked in Semiconductor, Life Sciences, Consumer Electronics and Optoelectronics/Photonics industries. Prior to Excelitas he has worked at Philips, PerkinElmer, Electronics Arts, and Mizuho-OSI, KLA-Tencor in various Technical & Strategic leadership roles.

 

Amit has earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Focus on Instrumentation & Control) from DDIT (India) and MBA from UC Davis (focus on Technology Management & Strategy).
