Amy Benton is currently the Vice President and Head of Information Technology at Travere Therapeutics. She is a successful IT Executive with a diverse background across multiple industries including high tech and pharmaceutical/biotech. Amy has extensive experience supporting corporate compliance initiatives and requirements such as Data Privacy, Sarbanes-Oxley, Enterprise Risk Management, Title 21 of the CFR, and Sunshine Act. She is a highly regarded manager, coach, and mentor who leads and inspires high-performing cross-functional teams.

Amy leveraged and embraced cloud computing technology from networks to systems and applications to build an IT infrastructure at Travere that is completely in the cloud. She also implemented a robust cybersecurity program.

Amy currently serves as a Client Advisory Board member at PCI and a Committee Member for the Society of Information Management, San Diego Women in Technology group.

Amy has a master’s degree in Business Administration, with a Concentration in Technology Management. She has a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, with a Concentration in Scientific Programming.
