Carey Smith is the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at Constellation, Inc. where he has overall accountability for IT and the digital technology business.  Carey is currently leading a digital transformation that will enable the organization to achieve new revenue and market share growth.  Carey is a progressive IT executive that has delivered new emerging technology platforms which have enabled the delivery of innovative business solutions leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), voice enabled cognitive capabilities, machine learning, Blockchain, innovation labs, DevOps, etc.  Carey’s career includes leadership expertise in application development, architecture, IT infrastructure and operations as well as iterative solution delivery leveraging progressive technologies and practices.

Previous to Constellation, Inc. Carey lead Enterprise Technology & Transformation at BlueCross BlueShield Minnesota.  Carey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and in Psychology.
