Carrie Rasmussen was the Chief Information Officer at The Save Mart Companies.  In this role, Carrie oversaw the company’s security and information technology organization, with responsibilities for developing and launching business solutions that support the company’s objectives, as well as innovative technologies that create a competitive advantage.

Prior to joining The Save Mart Companies, Carrie was the Group Vice President at Albertsons Companies (Safeway, Inc.). Carrie has more than 20 years working in retail technology and is a seasoned IT leader with expertise in M&A, digital platforms, advanced analytics and cloud migration strategies.

Carrie holds a master’s degree in Agriculture Business Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, both from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly).
